  1. Nah, they can use the road more to the south. I fail to see why they need to use the road right next to the river. Also all roads in the salient are now less then 15km from any Russian artillery - so quite close.

  5. So Ukraine lost like 100 soldiers. Russia lost 450 soldiers. Kiev is to fall within 24h or so. UK is lying through their teeth, lying so hard that its no longer funny. Or Ukraine is lying and they lost like 1500 troops ;) Realistically Russia lost around 50 soldiers killed in the first day offensive.

  8. It would be a bit crazy if Russians took Kiev by driving in - maybe then the pp of the west would realize that Ukraine is not resisting. I think they cut city off first from outside - probably doing this right now. Then do probing attacks supported by drones from multiple sides - they need to try to take out any long range AA so they can use airforce freely to bomb any buildings with resistance fighters in them. Kiev defenses are very weak and Russians are know to be brave / foolish / who cares about casulties mindset so they may take it and take Zielniski very shortly.

  12. Yes - it was a honest moment - but not good for Trump as he is in the US. I do not think it was genius due to timing - I would have attacked say in summer, June of 2021. Not towards end of winter! Putin's timing was simply strange. But other then that, like economic war calculus, were excellent.

  17. Counter offensive started around 24h ago. Ukrainian units are attack all along the front line in Donbass. Zaporozia offensive to start soon. So far Ukrainians failed to break through Russian defenses but took from the Russians some advance positions. No news of losses - but I expect Ukrainian losses to be heavy.

  20. Problem is that right now Russians are heavily reducing Ukrainians. I.e. losses are close to 10:1. So if this continues for more then a week Russians will take Nikoliv.

  21. No its not - the tank video was from Donbas. So they are the invader. Not sure about the actual troops video - I think it is 3 weeks newer than the tank part. A lot of defenders are from Donbas i.e. they are defending their homes.

  32. Well, Ukraine "win" is to take back all territory - which US commander said would be very, very difficult --- impossible. Russia win is to prevent NATO expansion & liberate Donbass - they are quite close to both of these. Russia can simply take few more cities and just like that they can claim a win - than if Ukraine gets 300km missiles they can move 300km to create a buffer zone.

  40. So far Ukraine failed at even small counter attacks unless they have huge man power advantage. Once Russians take over these Donbass defenses I doubt Ukraine will ever have offensive power to take it back.

  43. Nah, only the west somehow hates Russia despite doing the same on multiple occasions and not facing sanctions. Remember when US invaded (with help of UK and others) sovereign state of Iraq under false pretense of WMD? How legal was that? Or how about occupation of Afghanistan and installing puppet government there for 20 years? Hypocrisy at its finest. Finally we have Kosovo - where US and NATO kicked Serbs out to protect ethnic minority. Why can US protect minority but Russia cannot? Why Kosovo was recognized as a free state, but Donbass cannot? Sure this is more complex, but one can see the ugly truth of global politics and wide spread propaganda from every corner. Its not about people and their freedom, its just a global game run mostly by US.
