Also Russians taken now half of Krasny Liman (Liman).
64
Russia captured like 10 villages in Donbass in last 24h (!) They are moving fast now - around 20k Ukrainian troops cut off from main road (2 villages captured on said road) and more offensives planned by the Russians. Looks like major defeat of Ukraine is in the cards in the next few days!
47
Not at all. Ukrainians are taking heavy losses in Donbass and Russians are slowly advancing. It will take time, weeks, for Donbass to resolve.
36
The war is heading more and more towards total defeat of Ukraine. Its offensive in Kherson was not just a failure but a spectacular one with huge losses. So much so that soldiers are making more videos to appeal to pp of Ukraine to put pressure on idiot in charge. Making such videos in the military - at least in the west, is illegal. This is one step away from full rebellion. This is not the first time. Ukraine has shown they cannot do any counter attacks, time and time again. They cannot take even an inch of land back and hold it. Even against weak Russian forces. Any attempt to do so ends as a disaster for UA forces. Small, or big one, like Kherson.
35
Russians also captured few villages of little value in Kharkiv region. Bottom line is Russians are winning now and rolling Ukrainian defenses in Donbas.
33
1908 left Azovstal. Ukrainian defenses fully collapsed in Lugansk. Russians moving forward every hour. We going to see massive losses for Ukraine in few days.
31
@jurasivanauskas8101 They have half of Lyman, fighting is in the rail station right now. Probably 100% taken by tomorrow.
30
Relax, wars take time - look at US in Afghanistan - it took like 20 years for them to be finally defeated.
30
As usual, Russians advance once again, and UA forces retreat. There are no confirmation of any successes of yet another Ukrainian "offensive" in Kherson region. I expect UA to loose a lot of troops one more time and have no gains but losses.
29
Mariupol is about to fall - once it does big things will happen within days on southern front. The other place to watch is Irpin. If its taken & Mariupol forces regroup it will be the beginning of an end of army group Donbass. Once Donbass group is taken care off it will only be a cleanup operation to take all of Donbass and Putin can off ramp the war if he wants to.
27
@anewbeginning420 Yeah, its UA news so ignore without some solid confirmation.
23
Irpin near Kiev should turn red soon or already as Ukraine blew bridge behind it - so they cannot keep that position.
22
Ukraine has no more strength left to do even mid size counter attack. Ukraine took massive losses and casualties. Many brigades are now battalion sized. They have 100k of "volksturm" - they may throw that into the grinder. And then this is it.
22
In Donbass Russians are slowly moving forward and causing immense Ukrainian casualties. Why move faster - causes more dead, as long as they are grinding the enemy things are looking up.
22
Russians have taken Izium and moved to the rear of army Donbass. Now after taking Mariupol (city center taken but not a lot of the rest) they will attack from the south & army of Donbass will be encircled. Battle of Izium was a huge battle - Ukraine devoted like 15k or more of her troops! A Russian major general died there personally overseeing construction of a bridge over a river. Despite defending behind a river Ukrainian troops failed to stop the attack and were thrown back. Russians are repeating https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izyum%E2%80%93Barvenkovo_offensive from WWII. This time with success.
18
More like 10 in last 24h.
18
Russia taking these cities will cause massive casualties on all sides. We can see finally Kiev operation is a bit more clear and organized vs. super chaotic first few days.
17
Soon, Ukraine declares combat mission in Lugansk complete & also declares victory.
16
But they did not do any counter offensive. Russians were gone from say Hostomel before Ukrainians arrived. Russians in fact even gave up Ivankov as they moved behind it. So there was no counter offensive at all - Russians withdrawn troops. Same on Mikolayev front - it is doubtful there are any Russians left on the north side of the river. I am not even sure the bridges will be kept for much longer - I assume they will be blown up in the next few days and Russians will be fully across the river. Other fronts also are seeing a large Russian withdrawal. Russians are moving new fresh units north of Mariupol and to Donbass.
15
We slowly see that Ukraine is unable to keep up attrition fight. Lets see what winter brings.
15
Russia is slowly advancing. There is not much Ukraine can do but watch. After Kherson is annexed or made into a Republic I think Zaporozia is next.
14
But if strategy is more important than size, Ukraine has no strategy?
14
Russian march in Donbass continues!
14
Russians also advance in Luhansk around Popasna - a lot of land grabbing. Ukrainian forces there are crumbling. Russia counter attack at Rubizne in the north encircled around 1 Ukrainian BTG. The war clearly now goes in Russia's way.
13
Both India and Russia have the same view of Bucha. It needs to be investigated. But it was UK that blocked such investigation at UN.
12
partisans ? What partisans? All pp from these lands form new Russian units. Or you mean partisans attacking Ukrainians? Ukraine can certainly see good bye to Donbass - why should Ukraine have it against the wishes of people of Donbass? Should Germans get Slask back - against wishes of Poles? Should Ukraine get whole south eastern Poland?
12
3 out of these 4 villages Ukraine reclaimed were already in Ukrainian hands for at least two weeks.
12
Once Donbass is taken and Ukraine still wants to fight they move in and take Zaporoze and Dnipro. There is not much left in Ukraine resistance capability once Donbass is taken. There are no expectations of guerrilla welfare even from super pro Ukraine Poles. Minor objective almost taken, give it 10 days. Max objective is whole right hand side of Dniper and probably south (including Odessa).
11
Nah, east of Kiev is still in Russian hands. Few villages were taken back or just secured. He also did not show that Chernihiev is fully surrounded.
11
Nope. 41% of Americans now say US is providing "too much aid to Ukraine" --- and almost 60% are against more aid to Ukraine. Politicians need to listen to their people eventually.
11
Russia is starting to gain momentum in the Donbass region! now more and more captures every day.
10
@Б.С-щ1в Both are using similar equipment & it is a surprise that Russia is only using 200k of troops - I think they have far more, I have no idea why no one will confirm.
10
T-62s do not have home made armor add on - its brows of Breshniev armor - standard stuff. Very effective add on.

@mrforce301 Russians are moving forward in heavily defended Donbass. Russians had lots of land a month ago, but no use for it - some even say it was to fix Ukrainian forces. So they moved out. Russians can do these things as war is in Ukraine - not in Russia. The weapons Ukraine gains are tiny percentage of what they have. And the west is running out. For example, Ukraine got around 100 towed artillery. It is unlikely they get much more. BUT, they started the war with 2000 pieces of their own! Same with tanks. Even if the west somehow manages to double Polish contribution (which is close to max) it will only be 400 tanks - out of 200 set for delivery. This sounds impressive, but Ukraine had around 1200 tanks in the first line. And has around 1000 other useable tanks in storage. Ukraine lost over 1000 tanks already and about 800 of these permanently. So they desperately need tanks as they are running low. As time progresses Ukraine is going to run out of equipment. In two months at current loss levels they will have 500 tanks with no reserves. West is simply not capable of delivering enough weapons.
9
A lot of small Russian gains not report again. More or less area near Lyman is all taken - the city itself (Severdensk) is being swept, all surrounding villages taken, UA block troops blew up a bridge and remaining UA forces have to swim across river or surrender. Surrender seems better option as these arrested by blocking troops face trail for desertion.
9
@karlyo6937 Ukraine. So can be safely ignored.
9
What? Russia maybe, and maybe lost 10% of what Ukraine lost in Zaporozia - this is not including UA losses at the same time in the same area. Overall this year Ukraine lost a lot more vehicles than Russia and a lot more people and even more land.
9
Nah, how can they control anything if Russians are way south of it now. They also lost town 3 days ago. At least 3 Ukrainian brigades are being pushed by Russians south. Ukraine is not even within 5km of Kherson. Overall Russians are advancing slowly and taking terrain while Ukrainians are defending but taking heavy losses while retreating. Front lines move 3k-5km per day but it will move faster soon as Ukrainian forces are almost fully depleted.
9
Russia is now advancing in many areas as Ukraine forces are no longer capable of using superior numbers to counter technological supremacy. Also Ukraine is almost out of any artillery. I expect Russian advances to accelerate as Ukraine is running out of everything and it is starting to show. Ukraine attempts to stretch the Russians in Kherson are failing to get them anything other then heavy losses. Certainly this buys time but for what exactly? Same as Ukrainian attacks near Robotine - buy time but for what?
8
If pp support the invader, its not an invader but a liberator! What you do not get that this is a civil war. Both Russia and US have stepped into it and support different factions. In Donbass, parts of which are occupied by Kiev regime, people actively fight side by side with Russians to liberate their land. And these pp are Ukrainians as well.
8
LOL, no. Ukrainian offensive is not even confirmed by anyone and no one is going to move more troops in the region. So no respite for Donbass. The war is more or less lost of Ukraine. There is no path to victory.
8
Multiple sources confirm. About 1500 UA in total now surrendered in Mariupol. Expect more.
8
Russians are advancing on the whole Donbass front!
8
They even did more then that! They are just 12km away from Sloviansk now. they encircled whole UA brigade in Zalotne area! UA positions are falling like flies!
8
Its actually over 60%. They gained 10%+ since yesterday. So expect 100% in like 4 days?
8
Nah, it takes time to take even small town. They advanced few km - again. Again for the past few days. Ukrainians are in total retreat mode. At this rate in 10 days they will advance 50-70km.
7
Nah. No confirmation. Videos only from few villages that were maybe taken back, if actually ever in Russian hands.
7
@Коля-с1д2й Nah, there is no communication, the fighting already moved south from Izium so the city must be taken.
6
It looks like Russians withdrawn forces on the left hand side of Kiev all they way past Ivankov. Overnight. They are also removing other troops in multiple locations. I assume these will regroup and attack somewhere in Donbass.
6
LOL, and what was Vietnam during Vietnam war? 50?
