  1. Another wonderful vlog. To think I left Bournemouth to start my journey 3 years ago. People are instinctively preparing for something. More people are buying boats and vans to live a free life. A reflection of a shift in people's outlook on life. We've been spoon fed having more is happiness when it's quite the reverse Mrs Mindful. Stock up on food. Take care.

  3. What a fabulous and rich lifestyle we have. I have much less now but I've gained so much more in spirit and peace. Beautiful music and filming Mrs mindful. I laughed out loud at the dance and trying to sort out the lock and the snail showing the pace. It was perfect. Take ever so good care..

  9. Fabulous extra space. I've just had a new cratch cover made. It's not cheap. Well worth it though. Drying your washing from the engine heat. Sit out star gazing. Keeping the engine bay dry. Working on your engine in the rain. So many. Lovely vlog again Mrs Mindful.

  26. Hello Mrs Mindful. I thought he was in the marina I was trying to get to. He must be close to the canal because they are building a narrowboat. Also I was desperate for fuel and I thought that marina sold it. I would've got there and been stumped then. Oh well thanks for trying. Ooh and the message. I feel dead posh now my name's on TV. Filfy fumbs up..It has been very hot. No problems at deep lock then?

  31. Lovely poetry. I was in Wales when storm Erwen I think that's how it's spelt Erwen anyway the canal got blocked by quite a few fallen trees. It's dangerous being around trees in storms. I would've been concerned as well. I like cruising in winter. Warm fire not to hot doing the locks. Niceee. Lovely vlog Mrs mindful.

  34. I drink water from my tank. I use a filter tap and put sterilisation tablets in the water. Also I heard a bird singing that sounded like a bloke whistling. Just the first part of the song. Love bird song.

  46. My home town of Nottingham and I spent all my spare time fishing and enjoying Attenborough gravels growing up. The Trent is stunning this time of year. Some wonderful filming unlike my council estate vlogs Mrs Mindful. Ha ha. I'm on the Derwent river and I haven't seen a boat or person for days. I'm totally immersed in nature.   47.  @themindfulnarrowboat  No I'm doing the very remote Pocklington canal. It hasn't seen a boat for at least a year. Use it or lose it and it's a silver propeller location. Have a great time at crick i'm sure you'll get plenty of people wanting your signature. Enjoy Mrs Mindful

  50. I managed to film one of the most amazing sunrises in that frost. Can't wait to show it but I'm way behind. Anyway enough about me. Ashby canal is so peaceful and rural. Beautiful place.
