  1. I've got loud planes around here. So loud the car alarms go off. Congratulations on 5k subs. I'm currently stuck on a shallow river just before the turn around Point. I have to reverse now for miles. Life on the rivers and canals it's never boring. I thought those sculptures were real sheep when I first saw them. I'd eat that Apple mush. Looked lovely.   2. I watched a video today of a crow that had died in a carpark. The amazing thing was about 50 crows landed near the dead bird and just stood there. It was like a funeral. It was unbelievable to watch. They seemed to be paying their respects like Elephants do. Oooh thanks for the mention. Those ducks seem to be loaners because I saw another one just standing in the path. It seemed quite tame like the last one. Great vlog Mrs mindful.

  3. Oooh there's lots of silver propeller locations around Birmingham. I'm just heading to the Nene I'm not sure if I've left it abit late in the year Mrs Mindful. I need to go through your Nene vlogs again. I think your cooking is abit hit and miss. Not alot if reward for 1.5 hours of power. I managed to pick off the river some massive apples and I made a crumble which looked abit like your bread but still very tasty with wild apples. Once again you've put out a wonderful vlog. Pat Mr mindful, stroke India and let Zeph do the cooking. 😂😂😂 The weeks pass so quick have a lovely weekend.

  5. I know here on the river soar and Trent it's in flood. Is the Ouse in flood? Not nice when it's flooded. Makes me nervous Mrs mindful. Lovely vlog as always.

  10.  @johnd7904  if your tank is stainless it should be ok. I fitted a filter tap which goes through a charcoal filter. It was only £14.99 it bolts onto the existing cold water line. To be honest on my own I don't get through much water but you have others on board. Something to think about Mrs mindful.

  12. Such a lovely vlog with great music. There is a building I think it's from the 11th century or 14th ahhh can't remember now but it's very old in the city. The canal looked alot cleaner. I got two scarfs wrapped round my prop. I didn't notice those special plaques on the bridges telling you where you were on the canal. I did notice the same shopping trolleys are still there. The effort in pushing those bloody things round supermarkets is hard enough. To push one down the canal clattering and wheels spinning in all directions must take alot of energy. Do they do it at night because I've never seen a trolley pusher on the towpath? Ha. Have a great weekend Mrs Mindful..

  14. I feel anxious in cities but right at home in the country side. I used to feel guilty about this but now it's a bonus. I don't feel lonely in nature. Great vlog.

  15. That's an amazing set of locks. The same chap spoke to me. It's really confusing the first time I saw these locks. I spoke to the chap digging/ dredging the ponds hoping he had some Saxon sword stories. No! He said, just an old pram shopping trolley and push bikes. Abit of an anti climax Mrs mindful. Sorry I missed your last vlog. I'm busy painting my bottom...Arghh. have a beautiful weekend.

  20.  @themindfulnarrowboat  Ha ha they filmed me without realising it was auntie willy on his boat just finishing a sand bar slalom and 10 hour crossing. I think you pushed your engine to hard. We noticed that your propshaft's bent when we were fixing it. Your boat really needs some work before you have a serious brake down Vanessa. On a lighter note I'm sure it will be fine if you just turn the radio up so you can't hear anything. Ha ha Your vlogs are very well put together and beautifully made.   28. I've started to look into foraging. I didn't realise most of the berries along the towpaths are edible. Apples and blackberries, alder berries and so on. Mushrooms in the autumn..That gall wasp was fascinating. You are so observant of the environment. The middle levels look stunning I'm looking forward to my visit there.   39. I could manage on what you tube and buy me coffee's paid but with all the increases I'm going to be struggling Mrs mindful. Paying more but getting less. I think alot of boaters will stop paying I feel and it will become a slippery slope. 😔🤔
