Curious, why are you so obsessed with the concept of value?
Human beings are not things, we don't put a dollar value on a fetus and say "it's worth $50 so it has to suffer forever."
It just doesn't make sense to me, why treat is as an object with value like some slave when we could instead actually think about its' well-being and what will happen to it if it's born?
Children in africa are still starving and dying.
To animals, to disease, to starvation, to exposure,
They're coping in their poor circumstances, but they're still suffering, and they're still dying.
There are plenty of people that have "checked out" as you say, and those people were once babies.
There's many reasons why people that want to check out hesitate, but a very large number of them choose to check out anyway.
I would like to ask you not to talk about strength if you don't understand it.
Strength is limited, and it does run out.
