  8. Canada just needs to build the infrastructure to ship oil off the coast. It can divert oil trade to Norway for refinement and reduce trade to USA. And in the meantime work on their own oil refineries and increase oil production. Canada should be one of the richest countries in the world more than saudi even. It has the most oil in the world by far. Needs to increase price of fertilizer too and manipulate the market. It has a chokehold on potash which is literally required for industrial farming across the planet. Canada should be very very rich, it's being mismanaged.

Canada is the worlds largest supplier of potash aka fertilizer and it's not found in many places nor could the USA secure the same amount from other sources. There really aren't any for the most part at production scale. Canada can almost single handedly shut down agriculture in the USA. Also I don't know where you think Canada requires USA for food. They are one of only 5 nations in the world that can exert food power they produce so much food. And like I said on top of it control the means to produce food for much of the planet.
