RDA shouldn't be fighting young top ranked guys anymore. RDA turned 40 today and has lost thr majority of his fights is the past few years. He should retire or fight people who are around his age. This guy has been in the UFC for 16 years now, he should be like Jim Miller and fight lower ranked guys.
2
@Aristides Gonzalez Same with Kelvin Gastelum.
2
@tacotacotington3638 I rewatched that fight yesterday and Edwards held his own for the first two rounds. In the third he got tired, taken down, and dominated.
2
@tacotacotington3638 Aside from Cerrone and RDA what other 155 pound fighters has he fought?
2
SoldierofGod z You are the one who started the casual talk. Yes, Lesnar beat Hunt but officially it does not count because he failed the drug test. Just like Jones for all intents and purposes is the champ because he never lost and knocked out DC. Howevee, due to the failed drug test he officially is not the champ and his victory is not recognized.
2
I think Overeem wins, I don't understand the hype that Ngannou has. He beat Arlovski who just ended a five fight losing streak, he beat Anthony Hamilton who is 3-7 in the UFC. All of his other wins are against bums with his best victory being against Curtis Blaydes.
2
It is time, Glover had a great career and was able to achieve his dream of becoming champ at the age of 42. This was his last opportunity and he fought well. He can retire now knowing that he was able to have made his dream a reality.
2
Joanna and Valerie training together is intresting, they fought each other in the past and are now training together for the Flyweight belt in separate promotions.
2
Matt Brown is probably going to get his walking papers. With a record of 22-18 I would be surprised if the UFC gives him another fight.
2
I can't wait to see how he comes back from that loss to Holloway
2
That is why you have to finish your opponent if you are on their home turf.
2
Why the hell anyone would want to compete in this is beyond me. Looks entertaining though.
2
Alex Amaya Ha, I saw a much bigger man put on his ass hard in that fight. Gastelum was lighting him up like a Christmas tree. He was so superior than Weidman at striking that there was one point where he was just moving his head around and dodging all of his punches.
2
I have a feeling Arizona is pretty close to sea level, but maybe I'm wrong.
2
He certainly didn't go out on a high note unfortunately.
2
It looks like the UFC thinks so since they went and signed Chandler.
2
Maybe now they can finally cut Mickey Gall. The guy is obviously not a UFC caliber fighter.
2
I'm very happy for Yan, I remember when he lost to Patrick Cummings in New York and it seemed he was going to be cut. He was 1-4 in his last five and didn't look like UFC material. After than loss he went on a tear and if not for his loss to Thiago Santos he would be on a 10 fight winning streak.
2
@5q88 Please elaborate, I saw Jones drop Santos twice and he controlled the Octagon pretty much the entire fight. Aside from some leg kicks Santos didn't really land anything of consequence. Jones blocked or evaded nearly all of Santos' punches.
2
@MrSFblack He mentioned his finishes as opposed to Leon's decisions.
2
It was the right time to retire. He obviously doesn’t have it in him anymore.
2
No Aldo either.
2
His fight with Condit was one of the best ever
2
Sergei reminds me of Shane Carwin. A guy who would just knock everyone out in the first round. When Carwin's opponents made it out of the first round he would lose. I think if Tom Aspinal can survive the first round his chances of winning are much higher.
2
Masvidal's corner should be honest with him and not just tell him what he wants to hear.
2
He is younger than Cody by two months.
2
First!
2
I can't believe this is 7 years ago already.
2
Glover struggles against wrestlers, but I expected more.
2
That night Jimmy Smith was commentating the Chandler Alvarez fight.
2
Wow, I'm sure a part of her feels bad about that ass whipping she gave Carla.
2
Those guys in the back seem to always fail at doing their job. Like how hard is it to catch a guy who is falling down?
2
Poirier didn't technically submit him, he injured Pettis in a grappling exchange which caused Pettis to tap.
2
I knew it would be an easy fight for Adesanya. In reality this fight was a mismatch. Adesanya has had 99 fights in total MMA and kickboxing combined. Way more experience than Costa. Also Costa has only one win over a top ranked opponent and that was over Romero a year ago. Costa's sloppy style of running forward and throwing leather was not going to work on someone like Adesanya.
2
@Fred Fred After the rankings are updated Shabazyan should be number 9 in the division. Gastelum just fought for the belt and was ranked 4 but took a fight with a guy ranked 10 in the division below him.
2
100% expected outcome for this fight. Max should move up to 155. He is just going to keep mopping the floor with everyone not named Alexander Volkanovski.
2
TX X You got it right.
2
I wanted to hear Miocic yell "I'm a world champ!" like when he beat Werdum.
2
They showed alot of fighters highlights and showed those same fighters highlighted as well.
2
Beating Pettis in general isn't impressive. When RDA beat him it was impressive, after Alvarez beat Pettis his stock plummeted. After that Pettis just became a big name that fighters could make a name off of and add to their resume.
2
Glass Chin walker gets slept again.
2
It is annoying but I admire her being at all of his fights, and showing her support by being the loudest person in the crowd.
2
I am soooooooo happy for this man! He totally deserves it!
2
I love his style of fighting, I know that him vs Dillashaw will be a good one. I just hope it doesn't end in like 30 seconds.
2
I think Brunson should fight Weidman next, he needs a win over an opponent ranked higher than him and Weidman needs to beat a legit Middleweight.
2
The guy he got the viral KO over is fighting on the card as well. It must be awkward when they walk past each other in the fighter hotel.
2
Another Conor McGregor wannabe
2
I understand you are a Cain fan as am I, but let's be real. Cain's knee blew out after he got hit with a right uppercut. You can see him fall back akwardly and mess up his knee.
2
I guess he just wanted an easy pay day for all his hard work when he took the Bigfoot Silva fight.
2
If he got a dollar for every time this clip was showed he'd be a multimillionaire.
