@Tym2Repent the ferries are suspended. They really have been told to drive through what Russia calls "the new territories". We call them the "illegally occupied territories".

@alevyts3523 Who made the English language? So maths is correct
13
They refused him the business account he needed. And they only offered him a NatWest account after he told them he was going public.
12
International law allows Turkey to close access to the Black Sea during times of war. it has done so.
11
Nigel misspoke, the Post Office wasn't privatised. Royal Mail was but the Post Office stayed under public ownership
11
His job was to get us out of the EU. He succeeded didn't he?
9
@mariogmajner6549 Russia invaded in the end of winter
8
Nor necessarily. He may have given up due to the difficulty in getting those 100 names.
7
@eatshtanddie4168 the dossier they gave him said he did have enough money to keep the account
7
Now we get the backstabber, Rishi Sunak, unless Boris supporters move over to Penny. Please do!
6
@Neutralino if the political party is legal, it should be illegal to fire someone for being part of it. If the party/organisation is illegal, let the police and courts deal with it.
5
He isn't a knight of the realm
5
@shaun1293 it's a republic and democracy. Why are some people so determined to look smart by pretending they're mutually exclusive concepts?
5
@wesleymbewe9339 🙄 yeah, Russia could've taken all of Ukraine, Boris Johnson can fly, and Elvis lives.
5
"merely showing loyalty". Dear oh dear. Ever since Speaker Lenthal the Speaker's loyalty is to the chamber, not an individual. "May it please Your Majesty, I have neither eyes to see nor tongue to speak in this place but as this House is pleased to direct me whose servant I am here". The House desired Speaker Hoyle to follow the rules and allow the SNP motion to be voted on. He refused to do that, and now has to go.
5
It is. That's why there's increasingly longer gaps between Russian rocket attacks
5
If Ukrainian losses in Bakhmut are huge how massive are the Russian losses? Attackers lose 3-7 men for every defender who is lost. And while the Russians waste lives and war materiel in Bakhmut they can't attack elsewhere.
4
@andersbjrnsen7203 Ukraine has a large border to watch over from Belarus in the north to Russia in the east. Russia can focus its forces on the smaller front because Putin knows Ukraine will never send soldiers over the border into Russia
4
It's about injustice. Well, it is in Putin's head. In his writings and speeches he talks about the injustice of Russia losing what is rightfully its by right of conquest - the lands conquered by Catherine the Great. It's the same thing England went through under the Tudors, or more specifically Henry VII and the VIII. They were both obsessed with conquering France at cost, for the glory.
4
How about Russia withdraws the war ends immediately
4
@Ghastly_Grinner liar
4
@marcusaetius9309 Russia hasn't had air superiority at any point.
3
Dear god, no
3
@Trollbot-YouTube we were behind Sweden, Texas and Florida
3
@ffotograffydd sort out the laws that make their behaviour legal
3
British tanks are much better designed than Russian ones are. A Russian tank has the ammo underneath the turret, which is the weakest part of the tanks armour. That's why Russian tanks are so easy to destory - hit the turret and the ammo underneath explodes too. That's why the turret is always blown off a destoryed Russian tank. British tanks store their ammo lower down in the back of the tank, where the strongest armour is. A Challenger 2 can therefore take a hit or two and keep crew alive.
3
Are people with masks immune then? Why do we need to social distance if masks are full proof?
3
how is it brave?
3
Ok Ivan
3
[citation needed]
3
@annamhaid4047 sure, Ivan. The Russians sent a huge force of their best men to Kyiv cos they didn't want to capture it. 🙄
3
@gregmenego2200 the experts are giving their opinions on what might be happening, not the facts of what is actually happening
3
Is Sky News running the Ukrainian army?
3
@pointofveiw6059 Tommy is a nickname for British soldiers
3
@RS-hr8mj Russia knows no one will invade a nuclear armed power. It's like Russia says London will be the first place they nuke if we go to war. I stead f it scaring me I just roll my eyes.
3
@ffotograffydd the Coutts dossier from Oct last year states NF meets the requirements to bank with them.
3
TorianTammas most of those opt-outs were overruled before the ink was dry. The Social Chapter is the classic example. The UK was given a hard won 'cast iron' opt-out and 5 minutes later the European courts ruled the Social Chapter was covered by health and safety, and therefore must apply fully to the UK. That was Britain once again screwed over by Europe
2
no, no they haven't
2
The Challenger 3 isn't a new tank. It's Challenger 2's that have received an upgrade
2
City status isn't based on population. In England, for example the City of London has 8,500 people living there. The town of Luton has 225,000 living in it.
2
@peterlaing6661 we're all calling for peace. And Putin can provide it by pulling his boys out of Ukraine.
2
@Alan-ir3km the USSR was created in 1917
2
There's no hammering and the fighting has become more equal. The Russians still have more men and more equipment than Ukraine does, but Ukrainians have better training and morale. Overall things are settling into a standstill
2
He got something wrong when he said Ukraine has taken more land in the past month "than russia took in the whole of last year". He meant in the past year. It's a huge difference and we have to be careful to be accurate, otherwise Russian bots will pounce on mistakes and call them misinformation
2
Why is your accent better than any other? The quibbling over the pronunciation of "nuclear" is very snobby.
2
@HegelsOwl well, it's stopped the Russian advance, pushed them back and made Russian victory impossible. Sounds like money well spent
2
Not it isn't
2
@obamagaming-zv4vy two wrongs don't make a right
2
He's sacrificing Russians for it. The Russian death toll is six times higher than Ukraine's. Help me with some maths. Now, Russia's population is three times larger than Ukraine's but Russia is losing fighting age men six times faster than Ukraine, so which country will run out of soldiers first?
2
Same thing. MPs keep their seats by making the public better off
