  9.  @littleboots9800  Firstly one of the people who almost died from Covid 19 was not elderly but fit and reasonably healthy .He pulled through because he is lucky enough to have a wife who nursed him with dedication .He now has scarring on the lungs but is almost back to normal but who knows what the future holds. I have made a study of Covid myself and think I can judge when a Scientist has a grasp of his / her subject. I also think I am a reasonably good judge of a person's honesty and I do not believe Scientists make a habit of speaking to the public on behalf of the government of the day to help them sell a particular line . I know mutations are normal as any reasonably well informed person would and talking down to people is not a polite way to converse or exchange messages.

  11. I think we need to trust the Scientists rather than the government .From what I can see this is a nasty virus which mutates and it continues to be a serious threat .I wish Neil was correct but I suspect he has got this wrong.

  14.  @myronhelton4441  if you study the information issued in respect of this virus then you ought to be ca pable of analysing what the Doctors tell you when a new variation appears . Every year the flu virus apparently changes so why shouldn't the Covid virus follow the same pattern.

  40.  @mikeLTD-zip  I don't accept your opinion and know from past decisions that the Judges are independent .We do not have political appointees like the USA. You have to understand that the government and MP's make the laws but the Judges interpret those laws without fear or favour. Boris tries to run the country without reference to Parliament but he was told in no uncertain terms that he can't do that ; if you remember he dissolved Parliament illegally.
