  5.  @songsabai3794  we are talking about millions of grandmother's and grandfather's which makes a huge difference .In my locale it is not just the old and frail who succumb to Covid as a healthy 20 year old died from it. My healthy younger brother had Covid for several months and is left with scarring on the lungs.

  6.  @songsabai3794  You start from a false premise and that leads you into a rabbit Warren. The government have a duty to keep the population alive and healthy. The most eminent and well informed scientists and Doctors supply factual material and suggest how the situation can be dealt with. The Ministers consider the advice and introduce legislation to enact the recommendations which they believe address all the issues which elected representatives vote on. This is a cumbersome process but certainly not tyrannical. Try thinking about a positive response to.a difficult / impossible situation.

  14. mogznwaz she is applying for the top political job in the country and has demonstrated that she is unfit for that job .I believe she does not understand the problems the country is facing and if elected will rapidly lose her grip on the Cabinet and the House of Commons. We have to demonstrate that this country is governed sensibly if we are to keep the confidence of the financial markets and it is vital that we do so .Reducing taxation at this stage is not at all sensible and both candidates forget that the increase in National Insurance Contributions were intended to cover Social Care .

The policy unveiled by Braverman will not work as the issue of Migrants cannot be solved by the UK and the E U alone. There is a role for the U N but as usual there is no coherent policy emerging from that quarter .
