Holmavik I think Putin has worked out that Ukraine is rich in natural resources and if he controlled the whole territory he would have a stranglehold on the food supply of the world plus oil, gas ,sunflower oil and minerals .   17. John I was bullied at school and it was scary. My father suggested the bully needed to learn a lesson and he instructed me to give her a good kicking which I did. I was not a victim after the bully learned I was happy to fight back.

George in typical dictator fashion he is blaming others namely provincial governors and FSB officers .He accepts no responsibility for the decisions he has taken for example starting a war in the rainy season when his tanks can only move on roads where they can be picked off by Ukranian defenders . His PR campaign has been amateurish in contrast to the Ukranians which has convinced the World that Russia is a brutal and aggressive criminal state . The theft of Russian grain ,personal possessions ,the killing of unarmed civilians and the rape of women and children has reinforced the view that Russia is unfit to be part of the civilised world.

  35.  @aishabintabubakr4944  I missed out on the trial you are referring to and would be grateful for full particulars for example the Court, the Judge , the charge, the prosecutor , the defense attorney , the witnesses etc etc Personally there is no exemption for a charge of Treason or conspiracy to overturn an election result for obvious reasons .

It is clear that Trump is motivated by self interest and a lust for personal power and that his patriotism is skin deep but his supporters fail to notice his hypocrisy. He worked closely with Mike Pence who appeared to be loyal and dependable but Trump was willing to see him murdered by the mob he had inspired ; how can such behaviour be tolerated ?

There is evidence that Trump was involved in organising the attack on the Capitol ,he knew the mob was armed and he tried to over power his protection detail and his driver to proceed to the Capitol personally . The evidence is embarrassingly plentiful and it would be incredible if Trump and his closest associates were not indicted.
