@darrena5384 Boris disappearing from the scene seems a good idea to me .What does he offer? I have lost count of his lies and misjudgements not to mention his stupid project building a bridge or tunnel from Scotland to Northern Ireland .
3
@Warhead-haggis Warhead you are right and David Cameron ought to be ashamed of his role in this ridiculous situation.
3
Arrest the woman for taking public money under false pretenses.
3
George he does not even know how many children he has.
3
@simonrichardson3167 She is a little better than Jenrick.
3
She has certainly achieved that ambition.
3
Jason I had the same feeling as you.People seem to have remarkably short memory spans and Bo Jo clearly relies on that .
3
Because the Tories do not remember being in power for 14 years .
3
@logitech2010100 Yes Trump was fat and funny until he tried to start a Civil War .
3
@jayjolley9258 You can vote tactically and people do.
3
Well done Lisa. Gove is a shifty creature and almost as dishonest as his master Boris Johnson. Even Gove recognised once upon a time that Boris was not fit to be a Prime Minister but he has sacrificed his principles once again.
3
@1chish Childish and stupid .
2
@1chish I do not believe in wasting words or time .
2
She doesn't. She is a waste of space.
2
You would be very wise to do so Andrew.
2
Martin it was the Tories favourite scheme and 3 different Home Secretaries promoted it ( Patel, Braverman and Cleverly ).
2
To be fair Ms Badenoch has been dealt a very poor hand .It is clear to the majority of voters that the social and economic problems of the U K can be attributed to the Tory governments of Thatcher , Cameron and Johnson not to mention the E R G .
2
@paulshuttleworth6261 I do not think Abbott would be any worse than Patel or Braverman.
2
@lindadoughty9252 At the moment we have no choice but to put up with the Tory government .
2
@lindadoughty9252 I agree it is intolerable that we have to suffer the stupid and incompetent Tories .
2
@razorwestham5949 Ed was very young when he became leader but he is now more confident and mature .You could be right about David who is a little older and had more political experience but who knows .
2
@nsturgeon Ed is not dozy and never was .
2
Truss and Johnson have to be worse than Sunak .
2
At the moment there is no leadership but an omni shambles presided over by an over indulged child .
2
Boris is attempting to run the country without being accountable to Parliament .This is dangerous and is highlighting his dictatorial tendencies.
2
@CeiliogWaspflake The B B C is in a difficult position because the Tories hate our national broadcaster. This antipathy has been a feature for many years because they fear the truth about their dreadful policies and the corruption which is endemic.
2
@oscar38 The radio is financed by the licence fee and is one of the services supplied by the BB C .You give the impression you are a dreadful snob and I am sorry for you.
2
He is far too sensible to get involved in Party Politics.
2
@jamesrawlins735 He is an intelligent person but is clearly incapable of self discipline . I think he. might be able to deliver a decent speech but that might well be followed by a shambolic performance the following day
2
@polliebain7450 He is confident that he will get away with his dreadful behaviour as he has done in the past .In my opinion his race is run because the scandals are now surrounding him including the American lady who has recently delivered documents to the enquiry into his period as Mayor of London .
2
@jamesrawlins735 Boris is capable of doing some serious work but I think most of the time he just pretends that he is working. How could any professional politician fail to understand that all gatherings / parties do not conform to the rules introduced with lockdown. Look at the mess he created for the family of the Iranian / British lady currently held by the government of Iran.
2
@unacuentadeyoutube13 Because it is not a practical proposition. The price of membership has risen and the Pound Sterling will have to disappear.
2
@IndieGems2 The very suggestion that Boris Johnson may be welcomed back like a prodigal son causes me to suggest that the Tory Party has run out of ideas and deserves to be abolished.
2
@Camallunt Badenoch has little or no experience and her knowledge is pretty shaky too .
2
@Willywin There was an enquiry some years ago and the Tories did not take any notice of the recommendations at all. The new Government can make a start by examining the report and by using the recommendations as a basis for a new policy for dealing with child abuse .Perhaps you are a believer in the Money Tree but these enquiries are expensive and should be treated with respect .
2
@JOsc4-v The recession was actually caused by the financial crisis which was Worldwide. Do you now remember?
2
@faithlesshound5621 He called David Cameron a girly swot because he achieved First Class Honours .
2
@johnregan2443 People will not forget the Tory shambles.
2
@waqasahmed939 This isa well known Tory tactic and it is used to blackmail their own MP's.
2
Why don't you have a little patience and see what the Labour Government can do .Rome was not built in a day and after 14 years of Tory incompetence surely Keir Starmer and his Colleagues deserve a few years to try to bring order to this wonderful country .
2
Tihetris they could do worse .
2
Tom I agree .Rees- Mogg is just a toff who looks after other toffs .He has no idea how the majority of people live .
2
@braindonor8753 I do have health problems but I am so disenchanted with my G P that I can't bring myself to telephone to arrange a face to face appointment. Currently you are treated as a nuisance who is unworthy to be seen by a Doctor. I can testify that the N H S was 100% better when Tony Blair and Gordon Brown were in power.
2
@braindonor8753 The Tories have no defence to the charge that they have presided over a complete and utter mess for almost 14 years .I hold Osborne and Cameron primarily responsible and look what has happened now with Lord Cameron back in the Cabinet as Foreign Secretary leaving Cleverley to insult our Norther towns from the Home Office . I do not think you could make it up.
2
William I share your approval of Yvette who has impressed me for many years. Imagine Patel ,Cleverly , Braverman or Badenoch facing Yvette across the Dispatch Box .
2
Steve the rules were extremely complicated but regardless of numbers we were asked to observe social distancing and clearly the people in number 10 did not do that.
2
@jedfra9172 Take a look at Thatchers contribution .Short term tax cuts were financed by the revenue from the North Sea when the money should have been used to rebuild our manufacturing base via an Investment Bank . Building Societies ,British Gas BT etc were sold off and again the monies were used to finance tax cuts.
2
If Trump becomes President of the U S A again it is time to turn out the lights and leave our beautiful planet .
2
@andyhayes67 Sunak at least does not need to borrow £800, 000 . I think you need to think again because it is Mrs Sunak who is seriously wealthy while Rishi is just a self made man.
2
@Robo94100 I do appreciate the arithmetic in the Commons but it is a scandal that the UK is represented throughout the world by an unworthy creature like Boris. Surely there are sufficient Tory MP's who are sick to death of the incompetent and dishonest Prime Minister we currently have .
