  1. I was once at a new idol convention in Akihabara. Most of the people there were adult men between 30s-50s. They pay for photos, buy cds...ets. Some of the girls were as young as elementary school lvl. I taught that grade level at the time and talked to a few of them. One girl was jumping around and excited a foreigner was there, she shook my hand. A few creepy looking guys got angry er something cause the girl did that. lol Parents need to stop letting their little girls into these groups. :((

  3. It's better to split up and divorce before having a kid instead of having a kid that only one parent wanted and making it an unhappy situation. She loved him that much and probably thought he'd eventually genuinely wanted a kid. This is why you talk about kids before marriage. If the other person doesn't want, break up and move on.

  4.  @Bones12x2  Sadly..almost all of their fans are guys in 30-40. You also have to hold the parents accountable too. They're allowing their daughters to be idolized by creepy guys usually much older than their daughter. People like Akimoto know all too well the $$ idols generate from fans. It's quite sad his thinking. He's married to an ex-idol as well.

  18. In Japan, schools sometimes have gym meetings with all students to discuss bullying. I don't think this has any impact because bullying happens again, even after the school has the school meeting.

  19. I'm curious how does one trick a video call?? If the person is not even answering questions and giving completely different answers etc. How can someone NOT tell the difference between a recorded call and a live one? That's a serious red flag and time to block that person.

  21. I know plenty of happily married foreigner friends that have Japanese wives. :D I think it all depends. Japan does have women called gaijin hunters but I tend to stay away from Japanese girls that seek out foreigners. If you're a foreigner in Japan, I advise you not to date these girls. This is just me. There are plenty of non gaijin hunters that are into western and european cultures, it's just not as common.

  27. ALT salaries in Japan haven't increased much if any in the last 7-8 years. The avg ALT english teacher makes about 200-210k a month. Some provide apt money but many don't. I was going to move to Japan to work and find a relationship partner, but choosing Thailand as it seems like a better option. I love Japan immensely but sadly can't afford to live there/get married on that salary

  32. Some women choose to be single though. Japan has a huge rental gf/rental bf culture. I know a few girls that work as rental gfs because they find relationships annoying. Many guys vegetable guys also find relationships with real women annoying..hence why many prefer to date digital girls NDS...PS..mobile dating games Japan also has many single mothers * there are popular single mother magazines in Japan*, again..some are single mothers by choice..some not by choice.

  33. I'll be honest. I'm a slight fan of the deri-heru T.T I can attest to the fact that speaking Japanese improves chances. I went to a happening bar twice, was a bit difficult at first, but was able to go. of course being polite and not being a disturbance helps greatly too

  34. Sadly..it's common for many married couples to sleep in different rooms/beds. I asked my friend who loves his wife..but sleep in different rooms. Said didn't want to disturb each other. They were newly married too at the time. My foreign married friends sleep in same bed. I think it's only between married Japanese couples mostly.

It sounded like he needed convincing to have a kid if that's the case..the outcome for the family's future isn't good If you have to convince the other person about having a kid, marriage shouldn't be a viable option.

But the fact is that Japanese girls don't trust a guy easily and it takes awhile to build up to something on the lvl talked about in the video. I'm sure there are the few gullible and naive girls that give it a try...only to be scammed and have their hearts broken. This happens in many countries sadly.

  42. One big reason for the low birthrate is the lack of daycare for babies. New parents book daycare places even before the baby is born, up to a year or so before having a baby. More and more women in Japan just don't want to get married now too. You also have many single mothers, papakatsu etc.

  49. There was a documentary awhile back. I forgot if it was Nobita that did it or not. It talked about how some former Yakuza now work as small time actors doing movies etc to portray the life of Yakuza or other shows. I'm not sure if this is the majority or minority of former Yakuza or not.
