  1. They actually talked about fake bmws and other fake cars a long time ago. Most buy the real thing but some people here buy fake bmws. It's just a cheap car with a bmw car cover. I can imagine the shock taking a fake bmw into a car dealership/get laughed at and get told it's not a real beamer. lol

  3. Not all Beijing got hit. Most of the city didn’t get flooded. Fangshan and mentougou were the only danger spots. Shijingshan next to me was quite dry, flood wise.

  5. They also use famouse Japanese or Taiwanese actresses/singers on these cards. I heard it's illegal to use Chinese mainland actresses or singers, they'd get sued.

  6. Another thing are the TP thieves. People will just hoard toilet paper like it's the end of the world etc. Some places in Beijing maybe other cities, dunno have QR codes on the TP dispensers that prevent people from hoarding and taking however much they want. You have to scan with your phone to get. I think some also have timers on them as well.

  9. Not all beaches look like this btw. Qinghuangdao which is 3h east of Beijing by train looks nothing like this. It's actually a pretty nice beach area to visit. I'm not sure where they got this video from, but it's not a normal beach in China. lol

  12. Prostitution may sound banned but there are shops that offer services literally next to on the same street as police stations in China. You do see crack downs of shops getting busted but I think it's only for show, as there are many more that operate and spring up that don't get busted.

  17. I live in mentougou, one of two areas Beijing got hit by severe flooding. Vids and photos I got from friends and ff were insane! The city is much better now. Things got cleaned up fast.

  22. I've seen MANY water bottles that are half or partially drunk, thrown into garbages or recycle bins. It's horrible!!! I live in Beijing and it can get back sometimes. Even people that eat outside, won't put their stuff in the garbage, just let it on the floor next to them.

I've been in China for little over 5yrs myself was supposed to be back in Japan but...well..covid happened Moving back to Japan once free tourist borders open back up there and covid cases simmer down.

He went freak and made vids etc about how all these foreigners were dating/marrying Chinese women that should be dating/marrying Chinese guys. lol Even some Chinese women chimed in and blamed foreigners for dating women here. crazy.

  39. In Beijing, you can't get cold medicine at a pharmacy, you can only get it from the hospital. This is a new change since covid, as a way to track people with covid symptoms. It used to be that you had to give contact info when you bought cold and cough meds as a way to track people that could be covid carriers

  44. im in west beijing mentougou my building is on lockdown for a week, but it's nowhere near as bad as places and other area buildings that were locked down. covid zero policy sucks ass and many chinese know that and are waking up/having enough hence why the dozen or so massive rare protests happening all over the country im outta here in 5 weeks thankfully.

  50. There is a type of chinese alcohol that tastes like it's mixed with the chinese traditional medicine added. It comes in a red liquid and isn't too bad. I mix it with coke or sprite and it's pretty good. I don't touch the clear white stuff as it's dam strong and basically has no taste.
