In Tuck Everlasting the teenage immortal son tells a ten year old girl to wait until she gets older then to drink from The Fountain of Youth so they can get married and be toghether forever. He saw something in her but if he was really a pedophile he wouldn’t have wanted her to wait. As creepy as it sounds if children this age can have innocent little crushes on each other, there’s no reason adults couldn’t too. Still, I wouldn’t trust him alone with my child.
