  2. Russian army has been dropping many 100's of 1000's of leaflets on how Ukrainian troops can surrender safely. Of course part of the instructions are not to shoot first then surrender. Many 1000's of Ukrainian soldiers have successfully surrendered and taken as POWs. But embedded is some Ukrainian units are members of the Ukrainian secret police whose orders are to shoot to kill Ukrainian solder who surrender. So we don't know which of the two circumstances this video is. But Ukraine has passed a law that Ukrainian soldiers who enlist or are drafted are not allowed to leave the army even when their term of enlistment is over. So facing a death sentence many are leaving Ukraine illegally and some of them are shot and killed by Ukrainian border guards. The US can stop this senseless killing anytime.

  7. One should ask who gains what in a war or the declaration of a war? The US tried to stop NS-2 by sanctioning Germany. But then stopped. This is the "other way" to stop NS-2, by provoking Russia to invade. To do that US has to get Ukraine has to invade the Donbass. That seems to be happening. Is this a US inspired or a Russian inspired false flag operation. Truth is the 1st casualty of war. The public will not know for a long time. Ukraine accused Russia of shelling a kindergarten. I'm more likely to think Ukraine did the shelling. But this is a move that Russia must have thought possible. Do they have a response short of full invasion? But the certainty of Biden's voice that Russia will invade makes one think the US is sure the provocation is sufficient to elicite an invasion.

Tulsi said Kamala when she was attorney general withheld information that would exonerate a wrongly convicted person who later won his releae. THose are German tanks and US bradley fighting vehicles burning and blown up, not Russian armor. And you didn't see any of the major media tell you that J. Biden ordered the bombing of Nord Stream. That a majority of German people opose sending weapons to Ukraine. But most of all you didn't hear that the Ukrainian army has given an ultimatum to the CIA. NATO/US declares war on Russia or we make peace on RUssia's terms. We've got 350,000 casualties, we will NOT continue to fight RUssia alone. Put up or shut up.

  13. This is the same story as chemical weapons in Syria. In Syria when Al Quida was about to lose a big battle, they would ask the US to bomb Assad's forces. The US would then warn Assad not to use chemical weapons. And of course chemical weapons would be used and US would bomb Assad. The US used this tactic about a dozen times in Syria. The idea is to urge the US military to directly confront the Russian army. So far the US has not issued a warning and unlikely to. Until the US issues a warning, Ukraine will not blow up the dam.

It's not because you can't put a fuel tank large enough to fly further, but the curvature of the Earth prevents a ground controller from communicating with the drone at long distance. So how do Russian drone pilots communicate with a drone 1000km away? Russia just launched a big military satellite. If it sits a geosync their drone operators now have 24/7 access. And about 4 months ago Russia launched a satellite for Iran. And 3 weeks ago the US launched another big military satellite. So likely Ukraine has drone capability similar to Russia's.

  17. Cluster munitions are useful against infantry in an open field, and humvees, and trucks. They are useless against troops in zig-zag trenches or against armored vehicles. They are like hand granades. Ukraine would be much better off with normal 155mm shells. Unfortunately we (US and NATO) don't have any and Ukraine will run out in a month. The cluster munitions are no substitute for 155mm ammo.. But much much more than even 155mm ammo, Ukaine desparately needs the US/NATO to declare war on RUssia. Since that's not happening, Ukraine has no choice but to end its counter offensive while ramping up its propaganda and say it isn't ramping down it's offensive.

The 2nd is that if Russia really will lose a conventional war they will win tactical nukes. Russia does NOT use cluster munitions because they are ineffective in trench warfare, and they are useless against armored vehicles.

  34. I saw one video of Ukrainians trying to shoot down a drone and not succeeding. And the drone was flying in a straight line. Ground AA fire needs to shoot in front of the drone so that the bullet and drone arrive at the same spot in time. Ground AA guns need radar to get the range and velocity o fthe drone and a computer to point ahead the right amount. But if the drone flies in a zig-zag random way, and it take the bullet 2 seconds to go from gun to the drone, the computer can no longer predict where the drone will be 2 seconds in the future. The only weapon that can take out the drone is a guided missile. The IRIS-T just sent by Germany can do this but one IRIS-T system costs 200~300 Million with a launcher that can launch 6~8 at a time and a full complement of 24 missiles. So one $200 million IRIS-T can take out 1% of the 2400 drones Russia is buying from Iran. US/NATO sending air defense systems to Ukraine is a sad and perverse joke. It's to encourage Ukrainians to keep fighting a lost war. Maybe the US will come up with a new weapon system that can defeat these long range drones. But the claim that Ukraine is shooting down 80% or 50% of these is a lie. (especially when the software in the drone has it zig-zagging randomly instead of flying in a straight line it does now.)

The Afghan govt was entirely dependent on US aid. And because of its extreme level of corruption the whole society was totally dependent on external aid. That coupled to US sanctions that made it illegal for families to send money to their relatives in Afghanistan means now hunger is rampant. A strange comment by a PBS reporter that there's actually enough food in Afghanistan but the banking system is totally dysfunctional because of the frozen funds and sanctions. People can't buy the food they need. Right now the US is using Ukraine to levy extreme sanctions on Russia. But Afghanistan is the future of Ukraine.

There are western mercenaries in Ukraine and they say the Ukrainian soldier have zero training. US media has said Bakmut has no strategic significance. But German intellegence says if Bakmut falls the eastern flank is gone. German intel was shocked to learn of Ukrainian daily casualties.

Russia can put a tactical nuke into Ramstein airbase so I don't think Pataeus's comments reflect actual US position, although he very likely cleared that statement with the state dept's propaganda office. kadyrov, also likely cleared statement with the Kremlin's propaganda office. But I would think Kadyrov's statement is much closer to actual Kremlin policy.

  45. At this point allowing Ukraine to join NATO is the same as declaring war on Russia. There is zero support for declaring war on Russia, including the baltics and Poland. They have been told say those things by the CIA and they are obeying their masters. Russia knows this, so the only people being fooled is the public in the US and Europe. DW reported that a majority of Germans do NOT support sending weapons to Ukraine. So while most of the leaders of European countries are obedient vassals of the US there is no support within the people of Europe. So all the propaganda about the war going well for Ukraine, Russia's Wagner semi-coup, all this is to "quiet down" Europeans especially Germans. One last comment on NATO directly fighting Russia. All of NATO's weapons are in Russia, all of NATO's ammo is in Russia. All the satellite and other western Intel is already deployed to help Ukraine. Several 10's of 1000's of Poles are fighting in Ukraine wearing Ukrainian uniforoms (and they were not volunteers, but conscripts).. NATO troops wearing NATO uniforms won't make any difference, except the embarrasment will be much worse when the lose.

  47. Today CNN played s story of a woman who escaped from Mariupol, but her boyfriend was a commander of the Azov Battalion. He sent her messages saying he'd been ordered to fight to the last man, rather than surrender. CNN portrayed this as moving romance story. First the Azov Battalion is one of the most extreme neo-nazi groups with very vocal anti-semetic policies, and one of the reasons Israel did not vote against Russia at the UN. But the 2nd is why does Zelensky want his soldiers to fight to the death instead of surrendering? What purpose is served by sacrificing the last ~1000 soldiers even if they are neo-nazi's? The purpose is it's good propaganda. In the battle of the Donbass the Ukrainians (before the invasion) were previously dug in, getting to ready to attack. But they are now starting to move out of those areas into the towns, villages, seeking human shields. Shouting war crimes all the while. The sacrifice of the ~1000 in Mariupol may backfire in the battle of donbass when Ukrainian soldiers feel they are there just to be killed for propaganda purposes. But ultimately what are the Ukrainians fighting for? They are fighting so that the US can slap crippling sanctions on Russia. They are dying so that at some time in the future, they can allow US nukes on their soil. They are dying to provide propaganda for the information war. And peace talks? The most important of the sanctions is against Russia oil and gas. Zelensky will not be allowed to sign any peace agreement until gas sanctions are in place. Zelensky has as much authority as Asraf Ghani, and Hamid Karzai the two US appointed presicents of Afghanistan.
