Optimism is cowardice. We are born in this time and must bravely follow the path to the desired end … Our duty is to hold on to the lost position, without hope, without rescue. To hold on like that Roman soldier whose bones were found in front of a door in Pompeii, who died because they forgot to relieve him when Vesuvius erupted. … This honorable end is the one thing that cannot be taken from Man.

You mean our future feudal lords?

No, most people watched tv. Same drug, but not as potent. Escapism. Brain dopamine release. It creates the same addiction as gambling.

The top 1% own more than double the bottom 50%
1
@kycklingklubba5749 If there was, I think one side could take out all the tv stations and just 2-3 major corporate hq's and it would all be over in a week with minimal loss of life.
1
@jason_m_schmidt622 We are being farmed like cattle...like in the book The Time Machine. It's the elite's fantasy.
1
I've been 'stuck on the side of the road' three times. Two of them turned into great adventures, two of the more memorable events of my life that I can still tell stories of twenty years later. Experience I would not have had if I could have called for help and been picked up an hour later. Deus ditat

@myrtleesther8855 Feed store sells 1000mL for $44. I don't think I've ever known anyone who has actually needed it.

“A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant taste of death but once. It seems to me most strange that men should fear, seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come.”
1
@DogBeast221 About $1/oz near me. Some things are luxuries and you don't get them. I prefer marmite anyway, about the same price. A little bit goes a long way
1
@Arnoud-nf6iz How much money does it take? You can buy a property for under $10k and build a house packed with everything that you could ever use for another $20k and free electricity for life for another $5k

Ontopofthegrass Underthetrees "If the wealthiest ten percent of society continue to live as they do, the world’s entire carbon budget will be blown by 2033, even if all other emissions drop to zero." Seems like they're on it

@billywalker9223 I'm sure they can afford their own personal farms. And slaves.
1
@markusmaximus6636 What the study said is that a small percentage of the population causes the problem. That would mean a majority of the population has to change to support the minority.
1
@dubuyajay9964 Most of the world's cows are in India. There were more Bison in the US pre Columbus than there are cows today by biomass. By nutritional value, meat is more efficient use of land. How many acres of land and water for lettuce and avacado equal to one cow of protein and calories?
1
Athos Aramis It's all publicly available and verifiable data. Spread the word
1
@dubuyajay9964 Gates owns the mot farmland, but not most of the farmland. Most farmland is owned by small farmers, but I believe this is rapidly changing and the average farmer age is 58. All combined, gates own a block of land 20miles on side.

@NotBCT The whole agenda is anti-Jewish
1
@pololikikuju You are talking about the Jews. You can say it. Go ahead. You cannot say who it really is though

@PennsyltuckyReb man up

@dannye7612 Don't make enough
1
@dannye7612 Strangely, people think you need to make and spend a lot of money to have all of the perks of a modern comfy life, but if you can get 98% of the benefit w/o the work, why bother? It just takes some up front effort, then it's coasting.
1
@dannye7612 Get to work. I started with cheap (for a reason) land and $4k/year for ten years.
1
They'll make great pets.

We don't live in nature. We live in a highly controlled structure

@nanovation Artificial wombs will be here in a decade and women will no longer be necessary
1
You need calories, not nutrients. Sprouts have about thesame calories and nutrients as the seeds
1
Or maybe it's due to the introduction of birth control at the same time.
