  33. I was a professional mathematics engineering modeller for a few decades. Not that I ever paid attention to these things, but I think that was my official job title/description. You can make a model say anything you want. The trick is to make it match reality as closely as possible. In the case of pseudo science (because there is no control, per Karl Popper) you start with your conclusion and model to it
