  12.  @martino8114  Thanks for the reply. Nobody ever tells me what is wrong with trump. I've listened to almost nothing from him and half the stuff I do know comes from Bloom County when I was a kid. Yes, I do live under a rock, and don't know what's going on in the world (much), but I have relatives that foam at the mouth about him and nobody will tell me why. I'm pretty sure one was hospitalized over this because they disappeared for a few weeks after he was elected and they were convinced that he was going to put all the Jewish people in camps (really:body-blue-raised-arms:). I couldn't find where they got these ideas

  14.  @martino8114  I've actually studied the nazis and communists a lot over the last 10 years. I wasn't interested in any of this before, but kept ending up in the same places. I was mostly interested in mathematics which lead to economics, then to history ending up in religion. I didn't learn anything new in this guy's talk. Maybe I just went insane like Nash hahahahaah

  27. @CCrescence Eerily accurate from what I can remember. I think it ties in with Nietzsche, but I've never read anything by him. I like his explanation of the relationship between civilization and religion and if you want to change it, you must change the other. It would describe the culture war as a war over civilization. People like Hitler and Marx were interested in civilization building and were ultimately theologians, not economists and dictators. Don't know how much I can say here haahahha🤐 (edit) If you are talking about the Voegelin book...I'm pissed that I did not read this in high school. It opened up a whole new world about how to look at history, ww2, communism, wars,......

It did not have sports facilities or amenities like cafeterias or auditoriums and the teachers. I have a hard time thinking of anything necessary in schools that costs a lot of money

  37. Using debt as money that is controlled by private institutions is the real problem, not taxation. Incidentally however, taxation is part of this control mechanism. You can see it if you understand the mathematics of how it works (or doesn't)
