What did Bernie do exactly to "ghost" them?
8
My heart goes out to all Americans suffering under their current struggles against corporation greed. Love from Denmark.
7
Here in Canada we already have tons of unions for just about every job out there. And even the jobs without unions are covered by extensive laws placed on businesses so they can't exploit their employees. I hope the US one day follows this example in making living wages and better working conditions for their people.
7
Unions solve a lot of labor issues look at countries like Canada and Denmark where unions are the norm. Do you see those workers struggling?
7
That wouldn't really help though. The thing that needs to be shut down are the major corporations that are causing 99% of the pollution that led to this crisis.
7
It's not happening in Canada. I live in Canada. The government pays for my rent costs because of my disability. If you are unemployed or have a disability in Ontario, Canada you can get extra money from the provincial government to cover your rent costs. $900 a month for one apartment is ridiculous here. The average is 600-700 a month for most apartments. You'd never get it rented out at 900 unless it's a huge family sized apartment. No unemployed person would be unable to find rent costs let alone a full time worker. The housing crisis in my city I live in (Peterborugh, Ontario) is because there are more people than there are houses. It's not an affordability issue.
7
I really don't like how our PM claimed Denmark was "far from socialism." This is objectively wrong. The Nordic model is a mix of Captialism and Socialism it's neither one or the other outright. I feel I must apologize to Bernie and the American people for our Prime Minister's lack of knowledge on economics and for his criticisms of Bernie. Bernie Sanders and his idelogy is actually quite popular here.
7
US Media would rather chase a russia-collusion fantasy than talk about how people are dying in America from government allowing health industries to rule life and death. It's a sad state.
7
Last I checked it was something like more than 80% of the US has heavy student debt. This number far surpasses every other country in the entire world.
7
Who's Mike Pence?
7
You know the irony was that power to the people was the slogan of Soviet Russian 40-50 years ago and people in America laughed at it. Not so funny anymore I bet.
6
Technically Norwegians and Danes are pretty much the same with not much difference. They've been the same people for thousands of years before Norway and Denmark became separate for some reason.
6
Denmark supports Bernie and wishes the best for the American people suffering under the current failing government. We wish you the best on the path to Social Democracy and social services for all.
6
Good luck with that. The US war machine has no morals.
6
This is what more business owners need - a sustainability mindset not a short term profits only mindset.
6
Healthcare? Poverty? Dying American people? I'm all for freedom of the press but how does that pritoize more over dying Americans?
6
Okay but how do we do that? How do we create a people's government? Cause the only way to do this from what I can see is by demolishing the existing government run by oligarchs.
6
Bernie I love ya but you need to do more than wag your finger at corporations. They ain't gonna listen to you if you play nice. You have to slap them in the face with regulations. Regulations that your colleagues in the US government don't want implemented because they're bought by corporate lobbies. Stand strong Bernie Sanders. America depends on you now more than ever. Now is the time to push the pressure on this corrupt system more than ever.
5
@modemmark421 I'd love to but I'm not American. I do support Americans behind this 100% though. Here in Canada we are doing what we can to preserve nature and even fighting our government to take more action but our government is slow and kinda incompetent even though they're not corrupt like America's.
5
They do just not in America.
5
Did you hit your head?
5
@strayedarticle2838 Governments operate on deficits not on hand cash. You can't really compare the two.
5
My country GDP: 1.6 Trillion USD America's GDP: Over 19 Trillion USD So how is it my country can afford universal healthcare but America can't? Doesn't make any sense.
5
Tony Mario I both come from and currently live in a country that has a successful mixed economy system so take your propaganda and shove it back in your arse when you pulled it from.
5
@foxythefan9293 You're arguing with a paid shill troll. He does this nonsensical conservative dribble on every video.
5
He speaks so much like a Dane. I approve of his belief in an equal system that benefits all people not just the rich and so does nearly my entire country of Denmark.
5
How would all the soldiers from WW2 and the civil war and American revolution feel about the current state of America?
5
@h.plovecat4307 My Country GDP: 1.6 Trillion USD America's GDP: Over 19 Trillion If my country can fucking afford Univeral Healthcare than why can't America? Their can't pay for it lie is beyond absolute bullshit.
5
Dennis Young in the US*

Blows my mind that you have to register to vote in America. All you need here is to be a citizen and voting age (18) and you're mailed a ballot without needing to sign up to anything.
5
spaxxed You want to keep corrupt voting? That's your reason for being against Bernie? Really?
5
I'm sorry but anyone who makes the claim that Trump created jobs must be either, not old enough to understand the reality of working families today in America or they live in a bucket labelled FOX News.
5
@marcsutton1751 His third "vacation" home was a house he inherited from his parents and he didn't even keep it he sold it. Now let me ask you if you know about all the people in Vermont who because of Bernie now have homes thanks to his policies both as a Mayor and then a Senator.
5
No one makes that much an hour or you'd have more money than the entire world combined in a week, but I get your point. The rich need to share the wealth or we need to take it.
5
@Arhythmatic1 Yeah they make their money through the stock market, property ownership, government bailouts, and other capital gains methods. So to say they work at all, even a little, for most of their money is a stretch.
5
There is so much ignorance and elitist shit in your comment that I could build all of Trump's border wall out of it. Wake up. People are suffering in America and it's NOT NORMAL.
4
@brookwoldesadik1584 It's more of the Nordic or Canadian model where there's a mix of both capitalism and socialism together.
4
I feel like that's not true. The dark times are still coming for Americans.
4
@0witw047 By being one of the only countries in the world who still uses coal? The US Military is also reportedly the biggest user of CO2 emissions in the entire world. Cut the military budget and get rid of all those unnecessary foreign bases and I bet those numbers would go down massively.
4
Meanwhile I have no job yet my rent and food are covered by the government in addition to extra cash because of my disabilities. In a country that makes 1 trillion GDP. The US has a GDP of 19 Trillion, 19x what my country has and yet somehow America can't afford it? Hmmmmmm.
4
I fully support Bernie and his policies but let's be real. This entire impeachment process was a distraction. It takes Bernie off his campaign trail. The Senate republicans are going to block the impeachment conviction and this will go nowhere. The only hope America has is electing Bernie for president in 2020. Even if the DNC tries to screw Bernie over he has enough support to run for President as an independent candidate.
4
@donHooligan What you don't like your environmentally friendly food wrapped in six tons of plastic?
4
@VanHallen52 https://berniesanders.com/issues/the-green-new-deal/ https://berniesanders.com/issues/the-workplace-democracy-plan/ Two examples of just how far Bernie goes and how detailed he is about it. You can check more on his website.
4
It's more fucked up knowing that my country provides both free meds and rent costs for disabled people while having 1/19th of the GDP that America makes. Think about that.
4
@thomasclaesson1631 Sweden has more problems than Denmark. In fact we have no SERIOUS problems in Denmark but there is trouble in Sweden. I would say both places though rank far above the US.
4
I think there should be a bracket system like Canada has where the higher your wealth the higher your taxes go more and more.
4
Remember when Bernie stood with George Washington in the American Revolution?
4
5000 X 365 = 1825000 per year 1825000 x 76(average lifespan in US) = 138,700,000 So yeah wouldn't even be 150M
4
Joe Curr Why would the people in power be rioting or protesting? You do know many Republicans support Bernie's policies including over 50% of Republicans who are for Medicare 4 All?
4
Captialism encourages poverty. It's a sad reality.
