The reality is that the Kiev regime is in fact a neoliberal leftist globalist one, merely using Ukrainian ultranationalists as a tool that it will ultimately dispose of when it no longer needs them. They want to join the EU so they can have LGBT parades and gender transitioning kids and Black Lives Matter marches just like the West. It's somewhat bizarre that these Ukrainian ultranationalists are so blinded by their hatred of Russia that they can't see they're actually handing their country over to people far worse than the Russians.

I don't think stuff about "fascists" is really relevant, the simple fact is that the real leaders of Ukraine are neoliberal globalists, who've tricked Ukrainian ultranationalists into thinking they're fighting for Ukraine, when they're actually fighting for it to absorbed into the EU and abolished. That aside, the attitude of the Ukrainian leadership is clearly a problem. I think the minimum Russia will have to do is take the country East of the Dniepr for a strong defensive line, as well as take the southern coast to cut it off from the sea. After that Ukraine is left as a rump state with no GDP that the EU will either be stuck subsidizing for the next 50 years, or will have to abandon. (at which points i will be forced to go back to Russia hat in hand)

Literally all the West doss is try to dominate and control the rest of the world. Sanctions, subversion, regime change, invasion and occupation all over the planet, attempting to contain or subvert all regional powers that threaten Western dominance (Russia, China. Iran etc), and regime change, attack, sanction or occupy all smaller ones that resist Western dominance (Venezuela, North Korea, Afghanistan, Serbia, Iraq, Syria etc) When it seems like everyone else is the problem, you're the problem.

Funny how the Kiev government thinks it has more claim over the land of the people of the Donbass, then the people do themselves. Hilarious watching Ukrainian soldiers complain about how the "stupid locals" fail to appreciate their "protection" and keep helping the Russians. Britain would fight because no other nation or people has any claim to this country. And even then, if it was clear that there was no possibility of victory, I wouldn't encourage the massacre of hundreds of thousands of my own countryman for no reason. If I remember correctly, a few years ago Putin tried to appoint a new defence minister who was anti corruption, but was effectively forced to fire him because there was so much pushback from vested interests involved in defence procurement. Maybe the war has finally given Putin cover to get the job done.
