You said that "democracy is snake oil". Okay, I'm not going to pretend it's perfect, but I'll ask you one question. How come the societies which are at the source of our cultures were democratic? I mean the Greeks and the Romans. Why didn't we base our cultures on tyrannical societies? I have the answer for it. It was because the democratic societies were vastly more successful. We based our culture on them and became extremely successful ourselves. If that's snake oil, I want more of it!
