On the other hand, when women start responding financially to bigger women in advertising, then the change will happen. I think that instead of whining and making this a me me opportunity, this somewhat annoying and entitled-sounding woman could have helped to change attitudes by pointing out the beauty of more realistically proportioned women.

Here's some facts for you: The 2015 BBC radio poll indicated 45% of British Muslims says that clerics teaching violence against the West represent mainstream Islam. The UK survey by NOP Research that showed one in 4 British Muslims agreed that the 7/7 terrorist attack against civilians was justified. The 2006 Pew research poll that revealed that 30% of British Muslims thought that suicide bombing to protect Islam (not people, not a nation, but a THEOLOGY) was sometimes justified. This attitudes don't arise in a vaccuum. I want to hear EVERY British Muslim disavowing such extremism or reporting people who express such opinions.

  23. +optimusone1985 If you specifically choose a labour force that does not have the means to rent accommodation or drive to where they are needed because they are the only people who will tolerate your abysmal working conditions and pay, you don't get to claim that this accommodation is DEMANDED by them. It's like claiming that soldiers DEMAND guns when they go to war. That said, you actual appear apart from that statement to be quite sympathetic to the economics of their situation.

  24. I don't think we want racist politicians, but I see absolutely nothing wrong with what Naz Shah said. The US has funded billions of dollars to Israel when it doesn't need it, supports it even when it is committing crimes against humanity, and has a massive number of politicians who blindly support it. I wish she'd had the guts to double down and point that out. As for Livingstone's comments, I couldn't imagine anything more innocuous. Disappointing to see the baying SJW offence takers hounding him from the party.

It wasn't MY pet subject - the news report immediately said her death had opened a debate about violence BY MEN.   36.  @baggeeboy  It's not envy at all - I don't begrudge people becoming wealthy and having nice things - they usually do so by sacrificing more than I would ever sacrifice. But as someone who worked in housing for a while, and as someone who cares about the majority, it's patently obvious that you cannot put hard limits on house building with green belt protection, council rebuild limitations, and other orders at one end, then allow the wealthy to control the market at the other. It's literally a return to land barons.
