  21.  @crystalidx  I live in the USA and have been in the mental hospital 40+ times. Many patients are nice but not all. I was in the teen hospital with some murderers. One of them threatened to kill me. Most patients are not so scary though.

  31.  @margareeta1369  My parents and I ate a strict health food diet and I ran cross country and track. I still ended up in long term psychiatric facilities as a teenager. Diet and exercise should definitely be tried first but some people need more help.

  33.  @minaaris  Mentally ill people are more likely than the average person to be violent if they aren't treated. The USA had mentally ill people chained to the wall (in the 1950's and earlier) until we had medication.

  36. I can relate. As a teen I thought living in the mental hospital was heaven compared to living with my abusive parents. Later I found out that a group home was much better and a lot cheaper than the hospital.

  37.  @crystalidx  I am not talking about psychopaths. Mentally Ill people can be dangerous. I have been in psychiatric hospitals with them. Most mentally ill people are not dangerous but the ones who are shouldn't be walking the streets when they are dangerous.

  46.  @mcmc7746  I read enough articles on masks to make me comfortable with wearing them. I and my family have worn them and haven't gotten sick. Only my uncle didn't wear one and he got sick. So my choice has worked for me.
