  5.  @theblandcharlie822  You do understand that people won't kill most pedophiles. Physical proof of child abuse is hard to find in most of these cases. Most police stations and juries won't convict someone without physical proof. So most go free. I was on grand jury duty and it was hard to get the jury to send some of the pedophiles to trial. If you can help some people before they commit a crime it will save kids from abuse.

  10.  @zlpatriot11  You can have a savings account just don't save much in it. If you go over $2000 dollars in total assets they will take your whole check for every month you went over $2000. Even if it is $5 over. My check is being cut back about $100 a month for years because I saved too much money during the Covid shut down.

Should they let the patient free to harm someone else? Yemen is in a war. Not many doctors want to work in a war zone and not get paid. Edit: I hope they do get help so they can unchain the patients. It is very sad.

  18.  @withintheshyness  I was abused and my abuser was never removed from anything. I live my whole life knowing almost everyone supported him. At least if someone reported it to the police I would have known someone was looking out for me and not the abuser. Also so many other children can be molested if no one stops it. I am sorry you were traumatized by the police but I think you can have trauma either way.

Some US businesses (agriculture, construction, slaughter houses, some restaurants etc.) use a lot of cheap immigrant labor. They have an economic interest and get support from the right. Both sides are the reason for immigration in my opinion.

I would feel guilty but since I was abused by them I don't feel guilty. My father even abuses babies. I refuse to feel guilty if it was their fault I was in there. Maybe some teens are narcissists. Most the kids I was in the hospital with were abused.

  23.  @ohsweatbret  State run facilities are not always badly run. I was in the State Hospital and a fancy privet mental hospital as a teenager. The State Hospital was much better. The grounds and the food were nice at the other place but it was horrible and got shut down by the government. Privet is not always better. That place was a greedy hell hole that cost more than twice what the State Hospital did. I was glad they closed it.

  42.  @JenniferDaniels909  Girl Interrupted and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest are stories that happened in the 1960's or so. Mental health care has changed a lot in the 60 years since then. Lobotomies are illegal. People usually do not stay in mental hospitals very long now. More mentally ill people are in prison than in psychiatric hospitals now. Watch those movies if you want to see how things used to be. They are not like that now.
