  3. Yes, I often think that it would be much better for the USA if I just killed myself (I am on disability). But it would hurt my family and friends so much. Also committing suicide is not easy. Ultimately friends and family matter more.

  9. Did you ever consider that some of them are mentally ill? Overall mentally ill people have a harder time getting jobs than physically disabled people.

  16.  @ryanscottnix  The problem is how a church handles abuse allegations. Every church will have abuse happen sooner or later. Will the church try to handle it with prayer or by telling the appropriate authorities? Prayer doesn't have a good track record with stopping that type of abusers. If a church relies on prayer only they will end up with a lot of abused children. Save children over abusers. You can still pray for the abusers if they go to jail.

  28.  @unboxedcharacter  You are confusing SSI with SSDI. They are two different programs with two different rules. SSDI has much laxer rules. SSI is strict and you will be penalized for marriage. I am on both SSI and SSDI. They are very different.

  30.  @alexharper7645  I have done research. The South voted for Democrats before and after the Civil War, and during Jim Crow laws. Then Lyndon B. Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act. This angered the South. They switched to voting Republican. Look at maps of who the South voted for from the 1950's to the 1980's. You will see a huge switch.

  32.  @lindalds  I am not a member of any church currently. When I was a child the Quaker church my family went to stood by my abusive father. I never reported it to them. I told my school. But they believed him over me. I have never gone to Quaker meeting since I left home. Many of the people there were kind people in many ways but I felt betrayed by them. Would Jesus protect the children or the abuser? Most people know in their hearts the right answer. So why do so many churches protect the wrong people? Let's be honest. Most churches protect the person they know better. The abuser is often someone they have known for a long time. Children were born not long ago and are changing as they grow. So they protect the person whom they have had a longer relationship with instead of the child. It is even worse if the person is in church leadership.

  46.  john Sprague  I was thinking some of both BLM and Jan. 6. In my city we had a BLM march after George Floyd. Three hours after the march we had people come out and smash windows downtown. Were they the same people or different people? I don't know. I think some people go to protests of any type just to start trouble. They could care less about the issues. They egg on tensions hoping they can riot.
