Now try to relax and enjoy yourself as if you're next to a favela in Brazil where you know there were murders of tourists on that beach every day! If course you can't relax! You'd probably take a gun and be on the watch the whole time and not enjoy yourself one bit! That's basically what a socialist government feels like when you have the gang (the US) trying to sneak on you if you relax and let your guard down! How can Cuba experience freedom when they see US backing every opposition party popping up there while they have tries assassinations and military invasions before! The reaction is to not trust anyone and assume the worst. It's a terrible outcome, but we have to acknowledge our part in it! Only of US and UK let other people decide their own fate without their meddling! There's no way to know how these experiments would turn out, because the deck is stacked against them before they even start a government!
