Maybe on a societal level, US is not as family oriented, tight social fiber and much community amongst the people? Mainstream media constantly sowing division and hatred amongst the people. Lack of good social welfare and lack of economic opportunity. So many possible reasons, but find me one US politician that is thinking of a solution!

It’s an interesting thought experiment to think about English people in 1924 and thing if they could imagine in wildest dreams that they’ll be ruled by an Indian-British person who then sells their last steel mill to an Indian company who then is going to layoff 3000 English workers… It’s truly fascinating! At least US empire when it fall apart in the next decade, it still has plenty of resources to stay as the third most powerful nation easily. English couldn’t be powerful without exploiting many other countries to make up for their lack of resources.

There was no friction with the states in Iran till 1953 and CIA regime change in Iran! Mossadegh the prime minister actually came to the US and quoted American forefathers to establish common cause and similarities between Iran trying to get out from under British empire’s thumb!! They took Iranian oil, had to pay 16% of the proceeds according to the treaties, but barely gave Iran 10% by fraudulent reporting of the revenues!! So he nationalized the oil and kicked out the Brits! And the US overthrew him for that!?

  18. You guys can’t believe how similar US and Iranian governments are actually! The kinds of problems and discussions regarding events! The border complaints about the border are somewhat similar to Iranian complaints about Afghan immigration into Iran. Failure of planes, trains infrastructure problems are similar. The constant lying of officials and the distrust in the government is very similar. The bombing that happens, a lot of people say it’s a false flag… There’s widespread resentment towards the government for their support for Yemen, Hezbollah and Palestinians while Iranians have difficult economic situation which almost identical to to US government throwing billions at foreign wars in Ukraine and Israel while we have half a million homeless and no universal healthcare and properly paced roads… It’s uncanny!!

He's not confrontational like Jimmy, so that's why he doesn't want to run for office and doesn't want to meet people he's going to debate, because he's an introvert non-confrontational kind of a person. He's also unwilling to call people based on scant evidence and reading into trends and between the lines like Jimmy. He's naive and runs on presumption of innocence till the person is proven guilty. This is rather naive considering how corrupt the political system is. Presumption of sincerity from political figures in this day an age only sets you up for disappointment and rude awakening! Jimmy's approach is the correct approach, because you treat people the way they treat you.

Lovely people and clearly educated and middle class, but the lady brought up the royal wedding she was watching on TV and I just shut it down as I didn’t care one bit for monarchy and the fanfare involved in it!
