Russia will prolong it as long as the NATO is supplying Ukrainians and Ukrainians have poor soldiers to send forward! It’s an artillery war and Russia is out producing all NATO combined!! So, NATO is running out of stuff to send to Ukraine and Ukraine is running out of young men to conscript!! The war will come to a natural conclusion when NATO and Ukraine are exhausted! Another reason is the arrogance of the West in dismissing Russian concerns and being deceitful with the Minsk agreements! Russia can’t trust any guarantees from the west as they already lied to them many times and their actions show how much they want Russians dead! So, it will be a war until a complete Russian victory! The bonus in dragging the war is to see the whole EU economy crash and its people regime change themselves away from being US vassalage!! And it also delays any military engagement with China!
