"Different Sex Development" is obviously a much more vague and expansive term that facilitates things like Google pulling a slight of hand when the term "intersex population" is searched, informing us that it's as common as having red hair. A quick look up on a reputable sources suggests that actual intersex people by the original definition are something more like 0.02% of the population. Fairly obviously Intersex and DSD mean two completely different things.

  6. @May Godfrey I wouldn't want to grasp the nasty nettle of an enforced repatriation program, but I'd be in complete support of a zero migration policy (or a few thousand per year of carefully vetted people) for the sake of us all living here because honestly the current state of affairs is ridiculous. But there is nobody on the ballot with the balls to do it.

Also, it's no simple matter for the authorities to deny you access to the cash you have stored in a tin under the bathroom floorboard. Yeah, I know where you keep it Stephen. Whereas with a digital currency (which we essentially have already) the bank need only check a box and all of a sudden you can't buy sugary food, or meat, or fuel.

  20. No mention of the tyranny of Ofsted. A good friend who is a teacher tells me her job is not teaching, but pleasing Ofsted. She's basically not allowed to use any discipline. And if the school suspends a pupil they run the risk of getting their rating downgraded.

  24. We're too comfortable. Once the money runs out.... then things will be different. As long as the government are paying hotels and housing associations to accommodate these people at the expense of ever more borrowing, then I can largely ignore them other than what's on the news. But when the average British guy is competing with an Afghan to feed his children..... then this movie will take a rather more dramatic turn.

  34. Why are we paying France and then begging them to help us out? There's no reason we shouldn't have control of our own affairs. They come here because they get a more cushy welcome. Bed and board and food all taken care of for them plus pocket money to buy Nike Airs and feed the XBox. It would be a very easy matter to make it so we were no longer a more attractive option than France.

But in 3 months when Pfizer release their omicron specific booster you'll be immediately considered unvaxed. You're suggesting that your preferred alternative would not have instigated lockdowns, closed businesses, stopped travel, mandated self isolation for millions of workers, or borrowed the billions of GBP necessary to facilitate all of that? Besides, I think we got a glimpse from Canada and Australia of how it would likely have been here under a labour government.

And the people writing these articles are on the far left (which is most of the mainstream now) which means they see 75% of mainstream opinion as far right.
