I never even thought of them as immigrants. I visited their homes and we played Playstation and watched wrestling. We spoke English and English alone in my school. Almost never heard any of those kids talking in hindi or urdu. We did not need every leaflet and text books to be translated into 20 languages. Today this situation has completely flipped and it seems as if native British are already the minority.

I'm uncomfortable about this narrative because I support the groups advocating for the rights of biological women - but I keep hearing cries of "mysogyny" from feminists and that this is all men's fault. Do they ever ask themselves if the campaigns of feminist activism over the last few decades - demonising healthy masculinity as toxic and treating young boys in school like defective girls - has any part to play in a generation of men who think they'd rather be women?

It's just that in the first season episode by episode I was subjected to woke hectoring about Donald Trump, Colonialism, Misogyny and racism and frankly it just put me off. It's fine by me if the Doctor is a woman, but it's the writer who needs replacing not Whittaker.
