  1. Actually I'd say yes he is playing devil's advocate. I've listened to James for years and this is kind of his shtick. You'll notice he takes the counter position from angles that are all over the place without really caring or understanding that position. Just to cause controversy and to make the conversation more spicy. It's a hold over from the shock jock era of talk radio back in the 90s.

  19. It's not legal yet. Look over to the states though, where there were serious attempts (in California I think) to repeal the civil rights act. The assumption was that since they think it's the cultural norm now, they would be able to discriminate against white people.

  21. My dad insists that the NHS would collapse without immigrants. "Half the doctors there are black" he tells me ("black" in boomer speak being a catch all for not white). Well last time I was in A&E, even several years ago, 90% of the patients were ethnic minorities. Without immigrants I suspect the NHS would be just fine.
