  24.  @Walley28  I have had this thought already. I'm happy to pay reparations on a monthly basis in perpetuity, but there are terms. Firstly.... we're square now, okay...? Secondly... all diversity hiring, DEI, "equity" etc becomes illegal because after all it is and always has been discriminatory. Thirdly, I never, ever, EVER want to hear a single word about slavery, colonialism or systemic racism, ever again. And if any of these terms are broken then we can only conclude that monthly reparations are not working and the deal is off. Hows that sound?

  25. I think it's more about abiding by the law. Morality has little to do with that. The moral thing to do is protect and provide for your family, regardless what that involves, or whether it's legal or not.

Failed institutions you speak about like monarchy and religion, that have built our civilization to what we now enjoy over thousands of years. Interesting to observe that with the decline of the above institutions, we have seen both fascism and communism reap hundreds of millions of human lives in the last century.
