  4. Honestly I have a bit of a libertarian stance on this. Nobody needs to have a TV license. Nobody needs to watch the BBC. Nobody needs a television, or needs to consume any of the dinosaur media outlets. Your life in fact will be better off without it. Start a garden. Paint. Learn a musical instrument. Get out and join a club. Join a club online. Watch new media like this on new media platforms. Just stop feeding the BBC and it will die.

The ultimate result of all this is increasing balkanisation as our ballooning population (almost all through immigration) is squeezed into this little island and competition for resources and land intensifies. Civil and ethnic conflict is inevitable and this is what we're leaving for our kids. Those cowards and traitors in government utterly desecrating the birthright that all our ancestors died for. I feel great satisfaction to know I have rejected social media and mainstream TV for a medium that has countless benefits to mental health, sleep hygiene and general intelligence. Classic philosophy and the kind of content that in years to come will have been removed from print in the major publishers. I particularly like hardback editions that often are a piece of art on your shelf whether or not you get around to reading them.

  32. I'm not sure the left have won the culture war. We're all on the culture bus together - the left have got hold of the steering wheel and are now veering wildly astray, but that doesn't mean they own the bus. All that remains for us is to regain control or clear up the mess after the resulting disaster. All the woke crap we're seeing might seem like it's taking over everything, but it only amounts to a tiny minority of privileged people in media and sport - this stuff is a long way from convincing the vast majority of the population. Even the brainwashed kids coming out of university are a very small number of people - and the most zealous of these, when the shit hits the fan, will have no skills of value to offer the world. I am optimistic.
