140K? You sure about that? You sure you aren't referring to the 11K projected temporary pipeline jobs that would build a pipeline somewhere we already have a pipeline to, in order to create about 35 permanent jobs, many not in the US. All for the sake of funding oil imports and exports, a fuel source we are moving away from? Maybe they can use that $9B for something useful that will create a lot more than 11K jobs. At over $800K a job it wasn't the most efficient use of funds to create jobs. Especially for something that would do little to actually make us any money.

No

I got mine in like a week. Not sure what your issue is.
2
Agreed. Vote for Epstein's Best Friend!

@rosagarcia4481 You're literally here watching Fox lol.

@snowman374th "Prove he's not" That's not how standard of proof works. You have to prove he is, not the other way around. "Do you think poor people with a tax breaks are gonna create big business to supply American people jobs in the thousands?" No, I think poor people with tax breaks are going to spend more and stimulate the economy, which will help businesses grow, which will create jobs. Trickledown economics has shown to be a failure for decades. Large businesses are far more likely to horde money than create jobs. "Maybe you'd rather they be raised higher, so the cost of living will cost you more." If they raise taxes on those who can easily afford it and offer programs that help those without means to get by more easily and earn more then what's the issue? Not sure why you think cost of living would go up for the poorest American's though as those at the bottom don't even pay taxes. What difference would a tax increase make to them? "Maybe you don't like your freedom to save your money now and start a business. Can't do it broke, with no job, and nobody bailing you out." How about we make healthcare more affordable so that those starting their own businesses can afford to start a business without having to choose between their health and their new business. Even better, why not add UBI onto that so people get a nice startup bit of cash to start their own businesses. "maybe you're on the wrong side and don't see it yet. You hide your face for the obviously reasoning. To be hidden because you're a child. Or because you're afraid to be identified." You're profile picture is an upside-down flag. Both un-American and hiding at the same time.

@karmsenrab8587 I was responding to a fact-less rant with actual numbers and facts, but if you want to ignore that then that's on you.
2
@lonnycactus5593 It's not a trial test when they've given it to hundreds of millions of people. It has a 100% effective rate at stopping people from going to the hospital with covid. Yes, he is an idiot and his neglect for his health and the health of those around him will get people killed.
2
J Kasten This is at legal ports of entry.
2
J Kasten Even if that were true, this is nothing to do with Biden allowing asylum seekers entry to the US at legal ports of entry.
2
Agreed. Vote for Epstein's Best Friend!
2
@robkerr9930 Trump was literally promoting free speech not a minute after he kicked out Al Green.
2
@MasterYoist True. If they lost I bet they would get all their supporters all upset and would try to stop the results being counted. I bet they would even try to cheat by calling governors and asking them to "find votes" Worst of all, I bet there would be like 100 court cases about it. Total joke.
2
J Kasten "Dept. of Homeland Security planned to use emergency funds to support efforts to test migrants in Border Patrol custody but, according to the network’s sources, Texas had not approved the grant." Sounds like Texas is cutting off its own nose to spike its face.
2
@kurtseck9459 Because Texas turned down federal grants to fund them.
2
@lisarodriguez2926 1. They aren't open. Asylum seekers are legal and they are being screened. Do you even know what an asylum seeker is? 2. They have been denied funding by Texas for tests. Take it up with them.
2
@kurtseck9459 Asylum seekers are a net positive for the economy. They pay more in taxes than they take out in funding. We aren't funding them, they're funding us.
2
1776 USA There are a set number of asylum seekers allowed in each year. This has been the case for generations.
2
@kurtseck9459 These people have been at the border for months, not weeks. It takes them a month just to show up at the border. The economic benefits are long term, not immediate. You're complaining that they aren't paying into an economy when they are sitting in a border security agency waiting to be processed. I absolutely know what I'm talking about, I've read the studies showing the economic benefits of asylum seekers, so stop fearmongering and insulting and start reading.
2
@harryfarber6435 They aren't. Out of a population of 39 million they had a net loss of less than 1%. Most of the people leaving are retirees who want to take their millions and spend them in cheaper states, but they have to wait until retirement or they would lose their high salaries.
2
Nah
2
Joe Kasten Yes.....
2
@bobbylite3667 "Still blaming trump for those 500k?" Yes
2
@bobbylite3667 Yes. What's you issue?
2
@anthonybrogan390 Just Google Fauci emails, it's the second link. Takes you to a 3200+ page PDF.
2
True. Could you imagine a 75 year old running this election. Way too old.
2
Pell grants only cover a small portion of tuition fees. The $20K is for the loan between the grants and the fee totals.
2
It's literally the opposite. He is offering to develop Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala to try and reduce the number of immigrant caravans. This idea of building infrastructure to try and increase public wellbeing and reduce poverty is a way to save money in the long run. It's an investment.
2
Asylum seekers are a net positive for the economy. They put more money into social services than they take out, by both creating businesses and filling higher skilled positions. So they do make money, so it does make sense.
2
He's not opening the borders. He's letting in asylum seekers which are being vetted and processed over the next month.
2
@JamesBrown-ws8ht Asylum seekers by and large put far more into the economy than they take out. They are a net positive for the economy through both creation of small businesses and working higher skill jobs.
2
True. We don't need facts on Fox.
2
True. Republican's have a nasty habit of spending like crazy. Democrats really need to start curtailing that spend before we end up in another Republican market crash.
2
@xlr8r2010 Because the banks didn't do their own appraisal. Trump had a third party appraise his properties then lied about their evaluation.
2
@OfficiallZenFN Still the bank. The interest rate they gave Trump was lower than usual due to the appraised wealth.
2
@player--zero Neither of those made it into the final bill. The bridge to Canada is already built, the funding is for maintaining the bridge at the border, funding that was proposed by Trump's team originally. The silicon valley highspeed train was fully funded weeks before the bill passed when the city sold bonds to fund the project. The total cost was around 100 times what the covid bill would have helped with, but didn't because they took that out.
2
Sure sure. Keep dreaming.
2
And they remained in the area, and more businesses joined. He didn't ruin the state as Republicans like to claim.
1
Steve Austin and they didn't. Handy that.
1
@dustinbrandon5310 So he offers people knowledge and understanding rather than creating simpletons and only allowing them freedoms if they remain ignorant of the world? Sounds about right.
1
Sounds exactly like something dictator Trump would do.
1
@Nathan-dt2tu Which study are you calling the second one?
1
Agreed. Vote for Epstein's closest friend.
1
@BonsuBigWhale The law you are referring to is a European Union law under the Dublin Regulation. Canada has also used this law. The US has no such law.
1
@BonsuBigWhale Do you mean The 1951 Refugee Convention and its 1967 Protocol? Asylum shopping is not mentioned in this document.
1
They delayed because they didn't have any Republican support requiring them to pass the bill through multiple committees before passing even the house. Reconciliation usually takes about 9 months, and they used it in 2.
1
To crush free speech.
1
What respect is due?
1
The majority strongly disagree with you. He has a +16 approval rating in Minnesota.
