My fav type of therapy as well. Swiss Alps or Black Forest, GT4, Sunrise. I'm feeling much better every time afterwards.

Excellent. Just started enjoying a little afternoon cake and then there is a new Tedward classic car video! And even such an amazing car!
127
It would still be a huge car in Switzerland - so yes, a truck 🤣
84
Sensational! What a stunning car. Then again, it's a silver Porsche 🤤

I don't see why not. This is a nice spec indeed. I'd get GT Silver with PDK though.
25
That is just lovely. These have aged soo well!

@TedwardDrives I never take it for granted that I have these roads available. But as you say in the video, a GT4 is fun everywhere.
19
I hope this comes to Europe. Love it!

I don't see that happening. It would need at least two things (apart from a good highway itself): 1) better driver training and 2) proper rules. That pass on the right thing the US has would be the first to go. Same with removing every shitbox car from the road. But forcing rules on the "land of the free". Good luck. In Switzerland we would have perfect roads, a very high standard in driver training and proper rules. Yet we don't have high speed limits. As they are considered too dangerous. Doesn't really matter as the time you gain driving at a higher speed (if there is no traffic!), you'd loose again at the fuel station 🤣

That armrest moment had me laughing hard 🤣

Oh look at that, a good road! 🥳😉 Great stuff and I completely agree with your mindset on these drives!

Great video! This brings back memories. I can see your point. Having owned a 981 GTS for four years as a daily and then got a 718 GT4, the GTS is definitely closer to the sweet spot for the road (around 300hp in my opinion). I specced my cars almost identical. Both had buckets, PCCB, LSD and the GTS was on X73 suspension (the car in the video is on regular PASM, 1cm higher than X73). Buckets are great even as a daily 😉 The biggest difference in usability is actually the front overhang. GT4 is 2cm lower than the car you had and the splitter sticks out more. That makes it very annoying! But otherwise, usability is similar. Both great road trippers in the alps! Apart from clearing French speed bumps. But I still wouldn't want to daily the GT4. So the GTS provides more fun more of the time. The GT4 however is more a car for special moments in my opinion. As for the LSD, that is also not stock on the GTS. You have to order PTV to get it.

The definition of poster car! Thanks for making the offseason a bit shorter with this video!
7
My fav type of your videos. POV in this car!

Piuma was also my first road in the Malibu region. Oh man, brings back so many great memories! Really enjoyed this video!
7
A night drive towards a sunrise on a mountain is quite meditating. Love it!
6
It already had one of those passenger side infotainment systems 🤣

Congrats! 👏🏻

What a car!
5
Still the best RS4. Nowadays they are quite rare but just as lovely as ever. Peak Audi in my opinion.
5
Just like that, based on what I can see in the video. But with PDK and in GT Silver. That would mirror my 981 GTS Spec. Kinda my Go To Porsche Options. And yes of course. I daily drive my car in the Swiss Winter as well. Apart from Ground Clearance in heavy snow, no issues at all.
5
This is a great substitute for not having winter tyres on my sports car anymore. I can enjoy the fun and struggle by watching your video 🤣

As for the fuel filler location, that little triangle/arrow next to the little fuel pump icon on your dash always points to the side where the filler is 🤓

I have so many great memories from the G Class and Puchs from my military days. One of my favorite cars. It's so sad to see how Mercedes is marketing it. From a proper utility vehicle to an embarrassing AMG poser mobile. I'd still take a non AMG G500 or a Diesel but the image that comes with this car is very bad because they are going after the wrong customers sadly. A victim of its own success I guess.

Carving mountain roads in Switzerland? 👋🏻

Those seats 🤦🏻♂️
3
Absolutely wonderful! Stunning car!

This was probably the first victim of the Euro emission regulations. Many other proper fun cars to follow. No new BRZ, no new Z. All selling so little that all the complexity to meet the regulations is not worth it. Only boring hot hatches will probably remain. And hopefully the MX-5!
3
@TedwardDrives OK. I haven't seen a modern car that wasn't like that but maybe it's different in some countries. Also, I nodded at the Swiss commuter remark you made 😅
3
My Grandpa's doc had one of these. In Switzerland 😆
3
I heard something about switchbacks and passes in Switzerland 🙋🏻♂️ Enjoy your time in California!
3
What a place to be and enjoy a drive! Simply beautiful!
3
Excellent color but I'm biased 🤓
3
I just love these videos of the classic cars! Thanks for making them!

What a way to start the weekend... watching you drive another classic!
2
Very nicely presented! I really enjoyed that walk-around!
2
@m4d_al3x No it's not coming to Europe.
2
I also always like it when a big crane comes the other way. What a toy would that be to play with!
2
Good roads make such a difference. Adds so much to the videos!
2
Love ACH. Very enjoyable video again!
2
Very similar to my setup surprisingly. Although I have to say that the Hero 8 sound is not bad at all. I will probably replace my binaural setup with it to keep things simple as I don't run professional production like you. You can still use the head band if you take care of the angle. It's just that most people just put it on and drive. Then they are filming the headliner...
2
@TedwardDrives Well there is enough music coming from the rear anyway 😉
2
Wiper washer fluid. I once ran out late at night on a Sunday. Windscreen full of salt. Every gas station was closed and the water they had to clean the windows was frozen. It was not fun to use some road side snow to clean the windscreen 🤣
2
Oh wow! It being not perfect makes it even better I think.
2
@TedwardDrives Then better mute my stories starting from June when the season starts 😅 On the other hand, all those classic cars you get to drive... 🤤
2
Another wonderful drive along! I just have a thing for mid-engined Porsches 😉
2
Only one thing is certain: those commenters don't own a Type R let alone a Ferrari. Classic 🤡s.
2
That road is on my list. Great video!
2
That didn't take long then 🤣
2
@TedwardDrives That is very nice. I hope right when you said "this is for someone who wants to drive" 😉
