@PegasiJay There's a way to fix that. Just like a surfer uses a wave to propel himself, it's also possible to get in the "wave" of expansion to move at the same rate as the universe expands, the problem is that once you're in there you can't get out, not even in theory.

Michael Jordan It does in fact exist, satellites have to adjust their clocks every once in a while because time on the surface of the Earth doesn't "flow" at the same rate as in space. Time is affected by speed and gravity as well. The higher the gravity the slower time "flows".
