  5. Except it wasn't. It was an impossible sonar/voice tracking there would require trillions of terabites of data to be processed every second. However, this exact tech was used extensively in Iraq and Afghanistan. One of my NCOs said he was issued a gadget that would tell him where sniper shots were coming from.

  15. Unclear by the report. Also, where'd they get the guns and weapons? What I can say is a lot of jails in Latin America aren't like western jails. Typically they just throw them in there, with some not even providing food (the inmate's families do that). Others allowing anything in unchecked, including prostitutes, especially when mob bosses with dangerous friends and/or bribe money are involved.

  17.  @80YearOldWoman...  yeah, I looked him up and he had an allegation of flashing someone years before but it was a he-said they-said. His wife of many years spoke poor English and had no family in London which is probably significant. But that's not something that's an immediate red flag, and you can't expect anyone who ever worked with the suspect to know about his stash of "brutal porn." He also flash himself on camera only three days before the murder and that charge would have caught up to him quickly.

And a lot of these guys use mercury with their bear hands and burn it off when they done. Getting past licensing is often a matter of bribe money or friends in high places. Brazilians will fight over anything worth money. It doesn't matter who is "indigenous."
