  14. Not even remotely. There was no world war in 2014, there was no civil war in 1941, there were no Russians in the ME in 1941, there were no Vinchy anywhere in 2014, Jihadis didn't control Syria in 1941, and the Axis didn't control Syria in 2014.

  15. Turf switches hands lightly in that part of the world and borders are just lines on a map. During the Ottoman period it often wasn't clear if that area was part of Iraq or Syria and during the Revolution period it is not known who controlled the streets as the allegiances of tribal and municipal leaders changed yearly.

  17.  @wolfNov1942  why so antagonistic to our suppliers? Army bureacrats also make a killing in war and you're not demonizing them. Besides, military contracts aren't as profitable as you think. Yes, there are sometimes fat margins involved but it is high risk. You might spend a billion dollars on a tank factory but the government suddenly decides they don't need a lot of tanks. Or you may spend millions on a prototype airplane only for your competitor's to be chosen. Or your overhead costs triple overnight because the task was classified top secret and you're forced to sound proof walls, buy safes, and fire some of the best employees. Businessmen work for the military because patriotism, not profit.

  26. @AndreLuis-gw5ox  As mentioned in the video, in his late teens AH bummed off his mother. He did do that after she died and ended up in a homeless shelter. He stayed there long because while he started doing irregular work he spent most of his money on beer. He went to Germany to flee the draft but was caught up in war fevor in Germany and enlisted, and you know the rest.

No, because no AI could predict where the battlefield would be or the condition of the opposing armies/alliances at the time of war as they change year to year and will change upon war commencing. For instance, no AI could say with certainty that the current war would be confined to Ukraine with Poland and Belarus getting heavily involved whilst no fighting on their border.

Most of its energy and processing would be spent fetching values from memory (it would take years to search for a given file). Even the speed of light is a favcor because when the function requires a billion two way messages then a light nanosecond becomes a debilitating distance.
