  23. The YouTube algorithm is geared more towards videos like History Matters. A channel that posts short pieces of history that answers questions you didn't ask. These are quick and cheap to produce and service the lowest common denominator.

  32.  @aleksazunjic9672  the advantage in numbers is offset how the soldiers coming in from the Axis were at least hastily trained while the frantic pace of operations meant many Soviet soldiers had on the job training. By that I mean hopefully just holding the line in a trench while NCOs teach, but many times untrained recruits were thrown into battles.

  37.  @inurmomsbedroom123  as if it isn't easy to fake you read that stuff simply because you could repeat what you suppose to be true. But again keep in mind that few people read Mein Kampf. And more importantly, the book itself doesn't really explain much of Nazi thought as it's the ramblings of a then coup-plotter in prison for his crimes. It's loaded with jargon and weird equivalency that make major portions incomprehensible unless you already know what the man is thinking.

  44. I use to be an independent contract for a completely different type of work. Just don't. All the honest people have regular jobs with labor protections and benefits, and both ends of the gig economy are full of greedy "entrapaneurs" and people that refuse to take orders and/or refuse to work a regular schedule. I don't know what the case here is, but I'd recommend hiring someone you are directly related to for the grunt work, and have a Merry Christmas.

  45. No conspiracy necessary, just sometime allies/enemies. Recall the allies sent tonnes of war materials to the Soviets to ensure they stayed in the war. Also, the general public was oblivious to this at the time, and IDK to what extent the decisionmakers were aware of these troubles.
