@nnass262 Yugoslavia, Denmark, the Netherlands, Greece weren't under Allied protection.
1
@nnass262 Wrong. Greece, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Yugoslavia were never a threat to Germany.
1
@nnass262 Greece was fascist before Italy invaded it. Greece was not a threat to Germany. Belgium was too small to pose any threat to Germany.
1
No. The Weimar Republic was doing fine until the Great Depression began in 1929. Hitler came to power in 1933, and he benefited from the reforms made during Weimar.
1
France was in a continuous political crisis in the 1930s and was unwilling to do much to stop Hitler.
1
@TheImperatorKnight Could the prime minister go against the will of the people in 1938 and declare war on Germany? Didn't he need the backing of the Parliament?
1
@F22onblockland I understand what you say, in hindsight you could be right, but the fact remains that we have no way of knowing that the coup would have succeeded. In any case Chamberlain needed the support of the Parliament and the British people to stand against Hitler, and in 1938 they wanted peace by any means.
1
TIK made a video about why Hitler had to start the war https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQGMjDQ-TJ8
1
@-jammy4123 Yes, they had a genocidal way of implementing it. But the communists too did the same kind of genocidal struggle in communist China, North Korea, Cambodia, the Holodomor in Ukraine.
1
Germany was the bigger threat because she had a racial agenda (ethnic cleansing, genocide) for Europe and wanted European domination.
1
War with the USA was inevitable for Germany, even if he didn't declare war on the USA. The Kriegsmarine was insisting on attacking American ships going to Britain and attacks already occurred, thus casus belli already existed.
1
The Jews needed a country of their own.
1
Were the Germans even capable of reaching the Caucasus in 1941? The German supply lines and logistics would be so overstretched that it would be impossible to take the oil fields in one campaign.
1
@rajaali1063 Maybe the Germans would have managed to take the oil fields eventually, but then they would have a big problem because they would need to waste precious time transporting the oil all the way to Romania to be refined, or to rebuild the destroyed Soviet refineries in the Caucasus area. Either way, it would take some time until oil production from the Caucasus would benefit the Germans. Meanwhile the Soviets would launch counterattacks in order to retake the oil fields.
1
Maybe because those socialists were against racist policies enacted by the Nazis.
1
@Lennon6412 TIK made a video about this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCkyWBPaTC8
1
But why did Hitler invade neutral countries Yugoslavia, Greece, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Norway?
1
The UK was already at war with Germany, it would have been suicide for Britain to declare war on the USSR too, Britain would have been defeated. For Britain Germany was the bigger threat that had to be defeated.
1
@X50505 Germany posed a threat to freedom and democracy, thus she had to be stopped, defeated. A Nazi dominated Europe was a nightmare.
1
@survivalbert7017 Since after Munich 1938 Hitler had no more territorial desires, as he claimed, then why invade Poland? Why destroy Warsaw? Why destroy half the country? Why invade the rest of Czechoslovakia in March 1939?
1
@survivalbert7017 What were the other reasons Hitler invaded Poland and destroyed half the country, not to mention the killing of millions of civilians?
1
So what? Can they be stopped? Arrested? Put on trial?
1
The same thing can be said about nazi Germany, the main focus was the German people while the rest of European nations would become slaves or be exterminated.
1
So Hitler wanted war even without a "Gleiwitz incident". War was on Hitlers agenda from the very beginning of his political life.
1
@freckleheckler6311 Hitlerwanted much more than to recover lost German territories. He wanted European domination and had a racial agenda.
1
Hitler's peace overtures were ignored because Hitler could not be trusted anymore after he invaded Czechoslovakia and Poland and had made a pact with the Soviets (1939 Soviet-German pact), and wanted domination of continental Europe.
1
Tartarian buildings? What are you talking about?
1
It was gone because Germany was preparing for war, the "tranny ideology" did not help in the buildup for war.

1
It's complicated. A peace treaty in western Europe in 1940 would alarm Stalin, perhaps the USSR would attack first before the Germans could move troops on the Soviet border.
1
The Londoners made a Pakistani the mayor of London in a fair election. What is your point?
1
@XRG9805 No one forced the government to give them citizenship. It happened legally.
1
@XRG9805 If Romania becomes rich it will inevitably attract people from the Third World to work and live here. If they work legally and are peaceful they can stay, if not then they will have to leave immediately.
1
The British Empire's days were numbered even before 1939. But a Nazi German Empire dominating Europe would not be a good thing for anyone (except the Nazis), such an empire would last for a long time after the British Empire would collapse and Europe would be traumatized.
1
@bobbest1611 Nationalism was on the rise in the Empire, every nation in Africa, India wanted independence, revolutions were inevitable. That is why the Empire's days were numbered.
1
@bobbest1611 The breakup of such a huge empire was inevitable, the British army would not be able to keep control for a long time in the face of increasing nationalist movements. The British were not invincible either in Africa or in India.
1
An ally, not a vassal. Britain is still independent in its foreign policy.
1
If the Allies would have bombed only the oil refineries, that would have been enough to cripple the German war machine, without any need to bomb civilian centers. But if the Allies did not bomb civilian centers, the German civilians would not have learned some valuable lessons, that war is horrible and that the Nazi regime must be destroyed.
1
Why would anyone declare war on you? It makes no sense.
1
No. NATO expansion is not similar. Also NATO expansion did not happen only under Biden, it happened during Clinton and Bush jr too.
1
It is about the neonazi unproven idea that Poland was murdering thousands of ethnic Germans before 1939. Thus Germany had to "save" them.
1
Germany took loans from the USA but Hitler refused to pay them back.
1
@cayetanosoler3432 The economy was crashing because Germany was heavily rearming, preparing for war, stockpiling ammunition, expanding the army, recruiting more men, stockpiling raw materials, while no one would give any more loans to Germany. Germany was all in for war while trade with other countries was reduced drastically. Just like North Korea today.
1
@cayetanosoler3432 Germany also took loans from the USA, not just from German banks and people.
1
@cayetanosoler3432 Yes, Germany was in an economic crisis because she was preparing for war, while reducing trade with other countries. Germany became more and more like North Korea.
1
Nothing is wrong with a mono-ethnic state. Japan, South and North Korea, Israel, Albania, Slovenia are almost mono-ethnic states. There is problem only when a mono-ethnic state becomes xenophobic, racist.
1
@galactichitchhiker_ Afghanistan was under communist occupation from 1978 to 1992.
1
A broken people? How so? Isn't Germany today the strongest in Europe?
1
Does the Bible confirm your theory?
1
A billion.
