Small engines? That's a good question he's destroyed enough of them lol.
1
Though I am confident Rotella T6 is the best.
1
Water needs to be a mist if you are adding it, and for a small engine, you probably only want to use maybe 1/4 -1/2 cup. For a tank of gas. I find the increased compression really bizarre.
1
typically what's in the thread stays trapped in the threads even if loose, which means it will still take a decent amount of force to free it ... unless it's a very loose fitting thread.
1
Here I thought you'd be rebuilding it to start it.
1
These are so thin and expensive am am curious if are you scientifically better off just buying a big winter jacket? At least we know price isn't directly proportional to utility. Thanks! It would be nice if they diffused heat better. At the moment they give you a weird mix of warm and cold spots.
1
Damn, after you swap the others it's going to be SO bright in there. but I mean... we swapped out our bulbs years ago so I know exactly how brighter LEDs are. And you wouldn't believe how bright they are without the translucent shell... You could blind the sun.
1
I must know. We always bought the square shaft craftsman sets. (Mostly for their prying strength)
1
So if Milwaukee ever goes on sale I will buy that. And if I have more money than I know what to do with. I will buy Wiha.
1
I like that they have more feature bonuses, but the premium pricing is ridiculous. maybe we could steal the internals and put them into a corded tool.
1
I miss Dakota jeans they were cheap, rugged, and fit without crushing the goods.
1
Yeah I think for value I would have a hard time justifying the extra cost of the Worx let alone one of the more expensive ones when the $70 Craftsman will do the job fairly well.
1
I missed the weird tests.
1
Thank you. ...How difficult were the battery packs to take apart and put together. Would I be able to buy old junk name brand packs replace the lithium ion batterys (cells?) using the brands suggested in your other video? Or would that be too difficult to be worthwhile?
1
@sprinkletits01 That's definitely a safe assumption. It gummed up the coffee pot and left residue in the combustion chamber. So it definitely would gum up the oil pan, and every place oil settles, and it can't pass through the filter so....
1
My favourite.
1
I can't believe they ditched the recognizeable Hitachi brand for Metabo. I had no Idea.
1
You had me at video.
1
I feel like I would have to go with the Euroboor, having a fast cutting speed may save labour time for employees, but changing a bit every 3 holes is not saving you time. The fact the wear of the champion is almost double the first two, makes it hard to justify over the similarly priced (per bit) Euroboor. But it did cut faster so... Maybe a toss up depending on how you value each.
1
I think DeWalt may be watching your videos. They seem to be closer to their claims than in some past videos.
1
You should watch Major Hardware.
1
While kind of gross, the slime was a great visual comparison for the vibrations. Probably alot easier and cheaper than some movement amplification software.
1
The man is after our hearts.
1
So... I had hoped he product comparison on all the crank case engine cleaners. I ended up watching some other guy, that guy... even as a non-scientific practical test he set it up completely wrong. he cleaned out his engine with regular oil then tested the products, and his primary assessment was oil colour, which as we know is dependant on heat and chemical composition. Anyway, some good Project Farm testing would be really helpful for consumers. I bought some blind the other day, we will see how it does. I just hope it doesn't cause too excessive of wear while it's in there *(...Or eats gaskets). Then I will drop the pan and see what turned up.
1
No intro? Do you watch many of his videos? Did you watch this one? He does generally keep it very brisk but still he has introductions and they are needed to give clarity.
1
So... stronger bolts to test to failure?
1
my guess, nothing will happen.
1
I have never heard them called 'em-els' before. Normally people just say 'mils' for short. But I guess the other Americans may still be unfamiliar with ml let alone what people call it elsewhere for short.
1
Every time I see a Hydraulic press now I think of HPC and finnish heavy metal.
1
Very comprehensive testing, thank you!
1
I haven't gotten there yet but I am hoping you have the cheap ones from Napa, (Evercraft?), mastercraft used to be cheap but they cost almost $200 now and I am pretty certain they have the quality of a $20 torque wrench.
1
Did you test the calibrator? I would Be interested in knowing.
1
I am also curious how well they last over time. Or at different temperatures.
1
hahahaha
1
I did that, had to shake it up more.... the exhaust was a bit worse to breathe but otherwise seems fine. Wouldn't suggest it long term.
1
I wasn't expecting that amount of evaporation.
1
I have never had good luck with Husqvarna products. I wonder if some models are made in other places.
1
Your forehead must be cold these last few weeks.
1
Just imagine how much it would have gotten without the extra step.
1
If it seperates would it be bad to have in an engine? (Creating deposits in valleys, and likely being less effective in the process)
1
Or the compression.
1
So what is, as near as makes no difference, the cheapest blade is pretty close to the best on speed and the most durable. EZARC is what I will be looking for.
1
As cool as the venting nozzles are, deleting the formerly standard rear vent from the jugs was a mistake. Surr it saves from making a cap but it means you pour slower because you can't tip it as far and the nozzle mouth is smaller. I also really dislike the mouths that prevent you ftom tipping it horizontally and being unable to pour the whole thing.
1
One thing I will note is often rigid clothes wear out faster because the inflexibility creates weak/stress points.
1
perhaps I should buy some.
1
Did you ever test the engine restore on the sand eater?
1
I love that test rig!
1
I would love for you to do a video on your testing methods and testing variance between test passes with the same controls and 'subject'. It would be very interesting. Though probably difficult to mirror the tests perfectly. Like with putting screws into boards the impact driver, would have to cool down because you aren't switching to a different one.
1
I can tell you Black & Decker is probably a lost cause at this point.
1
Chinezium sounds like a pretty cool element in all honesty. But yes, I much prefer results where the cheapest one wins, ties, or comes close to the top.
