I value durability most for a screw driver with at least a baseline utility. But the price has to be within reason compared to a basic screwdriver (next best alternative). So based on durability, back drag, and tightest swing... I guess I will have to re-examine the whole video. the end table was not particularly useful this time. * there is no chart for the failure torque, not that the test was perfect but it looks like it would be between the Sata and the Michael Pro. So I would then look at the other characteristics between the two. ** everything seems to lean towards Michael Pro. But, whether you can find either where I am is a substantial question.

The WEN wasn't too bad being one of the cheapest, but it seems worthwhile to get the Irwin.
1
Masterforce was impressive in terms of strength and durability.
1
@Sumpinking1 hahahaha
1
I mean a weedwacker is kind of omni-directional...
1
I have been eagerly waiting for this one.
1
I like the new editing approach, definitely more streamlined. It would be nice to see a side by side of the bar graphs though.

Yesssssssss

Man the Rigid and the Craftsman did a lot better than I expected. I have a Makita but the price was higher.

Farmer?

$1200 for an 18% improvement is not worth it for me. The knock off certainly seems like a good option. Thank you for the comparison. The fake is a 'stihl'. (...assuming there isn't a better saw at the same or lower price point).

*lubricating sludge.
1
hmm... would a 2 stroke run on diesel?
1
2 seconds? I just like it then watch.
1
I suspect that would happen, but more importantly the filter would clog very quickly and that would really work against it (even if the passages didn't clog). I am curious... If you applied dry graphite during assembly would that improve engine life,or would the detergents in the oil just pull it off?
1
Basically expect none of the ratings to be accurate.
1
So for wood, I am curious how these compare to purpose built wood glue?
1
I have always wondered. Thanks!
1
so... if you dissolve it, could you just fire it right back up? (If it hardens fast enough then it is possible is could seize without much wear. oil galleries are the big concern though)
1
Good, I was disappointed with the initial thumbnail that deprived us of the pun.
1
Ugh, I bought the wrong one :( ...Cut me deep.

RIP Hitachi

Are there different models/serial no. for shop vacs from these brands? *Ok there are different models so one brand isn't necessarily universally better than another, it will depend on which models you are comparing. I was originally thinking each brand sold one type of shop vacuum because I have never bought one.

I heard the Pro Point 105i mig welder is good (but then again maybe the user is inept and they just look nice). Thanks to both of you. Unfortunately I fell into the bad welder trap over a decade ago.
1
If you end up testing rust inhibiting paints/primers, make sure to try Rust Killer, it is the best one I have tried by a mile.
1
Thanks for the video.
1
That's what I thought. One of the above commenters said, "organ" and I don't actually think that word is pronounced as I suspect they intended (as you say).
1
I have now seen very inconsistent results with the desulphator. More testing? I could buy a stick welder to fix the battery lol. Or I could just buy a new battery.
1
Thanks! this will be insanely useful.
1
Thanks for doing this.
1
Looking at the stats, I think the Warrior was the best value by far.
1
I liked the wobble test. Thank you.
1
To my knowledge, although slow, Molases is the cheapest, and most effective way with little material loss. (Unless you have access to a very expensive process that reverses rust to some degree, and doesn't corrode) That said I think it may actually become more corrosive over time as the solution interacts with the rust, so you probably have to watch the duration for an optimum.
1
Does wonders for wear... Until it clogs all the oil galleries and the filter preventing ANY lubrication.
1
Wow 2 million. Congratulations!
1
When screw drivers are too magnetic it can make some jobs a nightmare, if not impossible.
1
As LTT would ask, Do we know that the driver is the release model?
1
If this aired in November it would have made a great holiday gift guide.
1
It's possible the video wasn't representitive of the actual test. Sometimes you have to make weird edits for the sake of presentation quality.
1
it's all about the anti-knock.
1
@consaka1 You don't typically remove bolts in flight...
1
It would have been nice for some other funtionality tests like slide range, and hinge failure point. One problem I have had with some of these is how sharp the grip surfaces are. If you use them on hose it will shred them, while others are just fine.

This is helpful, thank you!

So... most black zip-ties are like Superman, they are actually fueled by sunlight. Also yes, tire chains, winter tires, mud tires, etc. But I would still love to see some info on gear oil, because (as mentioned) it is so difficult to find out which is yellow metal safe, and there seems to be huge cold-weather-viscosity variation.
1
These are the pliers I use most often, after needle nose. So definitely of interest.
1
excellent
1
There are stronger adhesives than JB Weld. But, I mean... it's a con-rod.
1
I think when doing comparison tests with a lot of competitors, it would help to flip back and forth from the graph as you add each test, so that you can have a better frame of reference for which is which. ...either that or maybe split it into a couple videos with smaller groups (like the oil championship).
1
We always have used Uvex genesis (slightly older design) because that's what the city we worked for buys, but they get scratched far too easily, then you can't see, not that you can see when they aren't scratched because they fog all the time. Also the curvature of the lens keeps them a bit too far from your face so stuff flying will find it's way around and into your eyes. I do not recommend them, but they haven't shattered even with some very large objects hitting them so they aren't your worst option lol.
1
LMAO that JB brick-plank
