It's worse than that. They want to manipulate and abuse, while being supported as victims, with more money as a reward. I know not everyone is like this. But I am tired of this behaviour not only being tolerated, but promoted and disagreement means being tarred and feathered. Society says it's wrong to treat women like they are glass and pander (ex: lose intentionally to flatter their ego, or let them go first, or give them an easier ride), but they will demand that pandering happen when it is convenient to their narrative (because not letting them go first, or not giving them extra help, "is sexist"). I just want this entitled BS and false narratives to stop and for people to decide if they want women on a pedestal or as equals. I favour as equals. But ultimately society makes its own rules, whatever they may be.

Politicians are so out of the loop, and even when they're in the loop they just dance to the tune of the running narrative and not reality.
379
They keep making the strawman argument "they say we agreed to the deal, but just agreeing doesn't mean it was fair". They didn't just agree, they negotiated it AND agreed.

In the land of "checks and balances" I am constantly appalled by the lack of both. Even if they attempted to put in place the mechanism and vote her out at the same time. The only thing they could nullify is the vote her out, the mechanism should still be preserved. All of this is absolutely disgusting.

I can't believe the Judge couldn't be bothered to hold her in contempt. just looks like no one is willing to uphold the law and hold her accountable.
25
I am surprised they didn't let them score more, people still are always like, "treat the eomen equally", then after "don't play so hard it's disrespectful".
24
I certainly hope they are being charged criminally and frist the IRS claws back misused nonprofit funds.
24
It probably works for some product only purchased by a certain kind of folk, maybe some activist charities. But for everyday things? Bad idea to antagonize half (or more) of their clients.
22
It's all about the narrative and how little specific knowledge of a reported issue the general public has.
20
Corruption is undoubtedly much broader than we see. They need to comb through complaints and take a closer look at these folks.
19
Maybe this will make him more self-aware. lol "what if I sound this way to people?"
17
Or... don't take those jobs.
16
This is what 'privilege' actually looks like (aka over priviledged)
14
The lies are clearly in the representation, the fact she went to HR is not really the issue she was stressing. They may not have even told her no, but directed her to somewhere or someone who could (that seems most likely, given operating procedures and general helpfulness).
13
*If you ever wanted proof it wasn't just about havimg the ability to play sports.
12
I just realized that the trump team could have easily forced this situation knowing they could use this bad PR to regain public support and make him relevant again. PR people are like that.
12
I think 'refugee camp' is probably what they meant. A "concentration camp" is very unlikely to be accurate. But if it was like an internment camp rather than either then frankly I am surprised at how well the government has managed to put them up. ...But then again the lady also said "simulate into our society" so... maybe it was simply misspoken.
12
"of the child" right.
12
In many cases it wasn't even revenge some people sought. Social credit, jobs, fame, to feel powerful, grudges...
11
That's the problem with this 'undefined' "definition" system they want to go with. It can't be both exclusively self-defined, and defined by others. Now that push comes to shove suddenly they get to choose what someone else is. It is hypocrisy. Things need common definitions or else they literally have no meaning.
11
That would line up with 'typical sports celebrity'.
11
'based on a true story' we should always know that just means the film is still fiction. it's like, "inspired by".
11
Schools tend to attract these kinds of people.
11
"Embattled"? They can't just say, 'inept', or 'fraudster', or 'embezzler' something more representative of her misdeeds?
11
There should always be a discussion/consideration for a good decision to be made. But the evidence is overwhelming here.

Even before these videos started popping up, I did my best to avoid looking at anyone. But I realized I have a right to exist and see things around. I still try not to some extent though... Like dude in video staring at the ground. I have had women walk up infront of my machine (the one I am using) for no reason and bending over or doing weird exercises.
10
@ImGoingSupersonic No they do, they just feel it should be ignored for some illogical reason.

I don't approve of censorship, but companies have to be free to fire him. He is paid to represent them.
9
If the courts aren't unbiased enough it needs restructuring.
9
I assume you feel similarly about Trump. I mean... Apples to apples. (Probably most politicians for that matter) But at the very least you are right, she seems to come across that way.
9
Well for one we all know airlines need more leg room (esp. united) and wider seats. But beyond that, better health care, encouraging activity, and discouraging obesity makes more sense than treating symptoms of larger issues. (pun not intended)
9
I much prefer not having to complain, but here we are watching 'role models' do something disgraceful...

Let's be honest films that try to sell check boxes rather than quality aren't likely to do well. Keeping flash does seem weird, but they also kept heard so they are consistent in their policies at least. Now if Bat Girl ready to go and wouldn't tarnish the brand and/or lose attendance for the main line films, might as well release it even if it isn't great. But As Disney demonstrated, you can tarnish a brand pretty quickly. (Then lose money on every subsequent film).
8
That would make an amusing satirical commercial.
8
@toniberman6079 and it is especially suitable as there is no H in Republican either.
8
If the phrase isn't in a list of things you can't say on national TV, or in their policies, it would be hard to show her conduct was inappropriate enough to justify dismissal. I am certain the company is going to lose viewers though.
7
It's always seemed hypocritical as a movement, because it isn't about the lives like they claim, it's about the narrative/context. People aptly pointed out for years, they aren't helping out with poverty, malaria, war, education, in Africa. They even ignored that many of their protests (directly and indirectly) caused the deaths of the same people they are claiming to believe matter. Because the movement's steam and the funds were more important to them than the lives of individuals. Any movement 'for life' that doesn't prioritize lives is never going to accomplish its stated goal.
7
Yet again, there should be systems in place where actions like this trigger investigation and prevent abuses of power from continuing.
7
The people who didn't want to strive, and friends, etc.
7
"Any gender is allowed to be defined by the individual" except women who disagree with them.
7
If she declares bankruptcy, does she still get her award while escaping her penalty?
7
Though were that done they could then argue something else and pan it as discrimination. These days it doesn't even matter if someone proposes two competing arguments if the root is discrimination people will ignore the hypocrisy and support what they feel they are expected to. ...Which to me is indicative that malicious discrimination (because people forget it exists in other forms and as a term is used in other contexts) is likey not as widespread as some advertise (or rather that it may be indiscriminately descriminate, hurting individuals but at comparable rates across groupings)
7
Right because she was a bully and excpected him to continue to be reclusive and tolerant.
6
People have a short memory. They'll probably be fine. Remember when everyone attacked them for not supporting the "Trump Victory"? Everyone said they'd never watch Fox again. But slowly they came back.
6
It's like the kind of childish greed you would get out of an unruly middle school student.
6
Absolutely, this is at minimum firing and disbarment.
6
It was hard enough for men to have sexism cases taken seriously 15 years ago, imagine how hard it would be now. Merely raising the question would have you branded a misogynist by the media and then an angry mob would harass your friends family and employer until they succeed or get distracted by something else.
6
@spedkaone He was before he started letting his biases go a little too far. Then he just continued with it. like, why would you say "this isn't good" The "good guys" were literally criminals and one was armed with a gun. Which is the point of contention for Kyle in the first place.
6
I always hope it's fake because fake is the lesser of two evils. Not that either should be tolerated.
6
They're also basically saying the old, "this kind of person couldn't possibly commit a crime like this". Which, in itself is dangerous for society, but also... For all we know, at this moment, the person may have done this because the community rejected them?
