  37. when nurses work through agencies, they get paid more.. mostly because they are responsible for their own health insurance and costs associated with the jobs. its always been that way because agency nurses usually get 1099s, not w2s for taxes. add to that, the vaccine mandates that would hinder as much as 50% of those qualified for nursing positions. be real about it all.
