  2. BMW codes are that way because they don't want you working on the car. They want the bucks. If the story is BS, WHY? What purpose did it serve? You sure your employer isn't testing you? Mine tried that when I was working, trying to F me up, so they would have a reason to let me go. The problem was I fooled them so that never happened.

  5. Always nice to see Wife Unit. Typical Jag. Was a time, you had to jack the engine off the mounts, in order to change the plugs. I see nothing has changed. Years from now, some guy will be pulling that compressor and be saying, "Who the hell put these damn wires in here?"

  21. Old school saying: You take care of your equipment, it will take care of you. Safety tip: Never rely on jacks to hold the weight of what you are working on. Always use stands. The Drive motor gear is drained from the outside point, when at the bottom, and then closed. At that time the center point is opened and the oil is put into the center point and filled. In other words, the gear is only filled with one quart. You are doing things the hard way and over filling the gear.

Now that you screwed up your press, what are you going to do with the next short axle you get? I wonder about you sometimes. Go and tell Wife Unit to buy race pullers that will fit anything you're up against, instead of grinding down the ones you have to make it fit.
