Reck Fredreck Everyone is entitled to an opinion,------- in democracies. I think companies should not be democratic the top man should be free to take all the money and just feed the slaves what they need to be able to do their job.

I suppose one answer could be for one side to emigrate to an EU state and the other side to emigrate to some where else and then the EU could solve it's migrant crises by sending them all to Britain.
1
frenchie jones You mean the kind of people who are running Europe today and making it such a paradise. ------ For the criminally minded.-------

Sad Khan Londons mayor said May is damaging the economy by saying what rights EU migrants to the UK will have after we leave the EU. Can someone tell him we are leaving the EU to run our country and we leave in March 2019. If the EU don't wish to be reasonable we will pay them nothing and put whatever tariffs we want on their exports to us.
1
Some people may have begged to stay in the EU until 2020 mainly because they never want to leave. The plain fact is we are leaving and we have the resources to weather any short term problems unlike the situation in the EU.
1
@Cowardly Custard Probably they're mostly pensioners spending our money they get from over generous civil service or nationalised industry pensions supporting foreign economies to while away their time in the sun polluting foreign cultures with pretend British pubs and cafe's selling full English breakfasts and fish and chips.
1
@mrmyloc Is the Sun still published? Tories should have no problem winning the election then, oh I forgot most 18 - 25yr olds don't have the attention span for reading these days do they. Do charity workers, social workers and interpreters get factored in to productivity stats.
1
@ramatgan1 Would you say the gangs were paedos then?
1
Due to mismanagement and pursuing the wrong objectives. Brexit is the route out of our current suicidal thinking.

We will no longer have to fund failing EU states unable to operate with the Euro to the benefit of Germany, we will save on all the costs associated with EU membership such as MEP salaries and that of their hangers on plus their expenses. We will save on time and expense of running legal and policy decisions through the EU and be able to trade with the world to however we desire. Exactly how much or little we benefit economically will be determined by the government we elect and predicting the future is a mugs game, so here goes I predict the economies of Greece, Italy and Spain will not thrive as long as they have the Euro and the EU is heading for trouble. At the end of the day what makes you happiest is what counts and for me that would be living in a sovereign UK with a democratically accountable government.
1
It's not just out of spite it's a matter of self preservation, and we would not be cutting our selves off from trade with Europe it will be a different relationship that's all, one that depends on the deal they want to do with us. They're talking tough at the moment naturally, but the German business leaders are already getting nervous. It may be that we have to leave without a deal before they want to get real, also our trade with the rest of the world is growing faster than with Europe and I expect it to grow faster still after we leave. Talk of self destruction of the economy is hyperbole we have faced tougher times in the past and are better placed to prosper than we were then.
1
The issue is so much more than transient economic problems I do not want the UK to be run from Brussels for the benefit of Germany, don't forget virtually every prediction made so far about the UK and EU has been proved wrong from ''we wouldn't be able to survive without the Euro'' to there is no intention to create a Euro army.
1
So every successful prospering country is a world superpower? Mommy i'm scared.
1
Correct.
1
Are you expecting the EU to agree to this?
1
Where would be without indoctrination? Out of the EU?
1
Hamstringing his business helps no one but remaining competitive improves the chances for the UK operations of his company. Difficult for people who think socialism makes the world go around to grasp I understand.
1
@Chasing Unicorns We need a managed no EU not a car crash EU.
1
@Chasing Unicorns It's like a managed no deal stage 2.
1
@Chasing Unicorns I don't think you're thick you're just confused by the EU's propaganda, a managed no deal means accepting the UK and the EU will still exist on the same planet after Brexit and talking about what that means in reality, a managed no EU means after EU realise the project is a dead duck then we talk together about the future.
1
@Chasing Unicorns You really believe all that? come back to the real world it's much more interesting although it doesn't really matter what you do the real world will continue without you. It is written so it shall be is the comfort blanket for failures, an attempt to put up roadblocks after people take to the air. No wonder so little innovation and invention comes from Europe these days.
1
@samhartford5889 Good luck to you too.
1
@Chasing Unicorns Strange how article 50 recommends withdrawal and future relationship agreements take place together yet the EU decided different and May agreed.
1
@Chasing Unicorns Thank's for that. Paragraph 2. states the withdrawal agreement will be negotiated taking account of the framework for it's future relationship with the union. So what is the framework for the future relationship? If it exists why has it not been revealed and why do we need the backstop beyond the end of the tranistion/implementatin period?
1
@Chasing Unicorns The negotiations refers to the negotiations that have been done so what did they take account of while doing the negotiations no details about the framework for the future relationship have been revealed. A framework to me implies a solid structure requiring finishing details so at least parliament should know the full details of what it is voting on. But then that's the EU for you let the elite decide things and keep everyone else in the dark, democratic to the last. Not.
1
How unusual for the leaders of two largish western economies to meet. I suppose May is just informing Macron of what she thinks will happen in the negotiations over Brexit so they can make preparations.
