The booster doesn't add much more protection if you've already had the previous shots, but it does ccumulate more mRNA shavings that your body can't process. You think you're protecting yourself, but you're really just rolling the dice either way. If you are not either elderly (and therefore frail) or have high co-morbidities, you probably should skip the booster.
