  1. The whole conversation is a red herring. It's not about criminalization or not. You give them a "safe place" but don't try to help them actually get off the drugs. That's the main problem. They need to make it mandatory that they can avoid jail by being part of a program they can't quit until they're off their drugs.

Etc,etc. These people justify, for the same reasons, the theft of Syria's resources, and soon Hungary, now that Samantha Powers is on the ground, getting ready to do what Victoria Nuland did in Ukraine.

Ukrainian nazis were killing Ukrainians of Russian background. Russia eventually intervened, but it's true that the Ukrainians under attack didn't expect them to.
