They did, however, spend a lot of money gaining the influence of such institutions as the WHO to say such things on their behalf. Their belt & road initiative is working in at least some parts of the world. They are successfully displacing the local economies with a Chinese structure.

Same problem we have with our current government. You're in for a rude awakening when Trump takes office and they get serious on the border and you're going to see how you secure a border.
